Carlos is one big joke, he isn't even very good, I really cannot believe it, if it is true then you can understand exactly why Lampard is so pissed off. He gets £40,000 a week and is your best player, and we are close to signing someone who will "earn" £120,000 a week and he isn't even a main player. He plays down the left, he's hardly going to play a main role or be indispensable.

I swear we have some sort of deal with Real Madrid, where they give us players after their prime and we give them stupid amounts in return. £16.8 million for Makelele and £20 million for Carlos takes the fucking piss.

I still think Chelsea just want to sign "big names" rather than the right kind of players. I personally think Roberto Carlos would flop in England, like another Brazilian world cup winning defender in Roque Junior.

kluivert would probably end up at somewhere like newcastle or liverpool. i think he wants to play for arsenal but i dont see it happening.

Most of our signings from Leeds have turned out pretty good, so I'm hopeful. Bit iffy though ,after he said he'd never play for man utd, and him allegedly singing munich songs at a leeds christmas party.

He's going to have to win a lot of people over.

No they don't. Van Nistelrooy was touting Kluivert for a more to OT all last season and said he would love to play along side him for club and county. After the first Scotland game though, it was clear the partnership wasn't working and they stuck with RVN and it paid off.

Man United fans don't like Kluivert anyway.
