I love the fact that I get the game one day before it comes out, yet, my friend won't be returning my 360 until the day AFTER. So it'll just sit on my desk for about 28 hours....Wasn't much point in paying an extra 8 dollars for the damn thing if this is what comes of it.

But staying on topic...is GM mode's formula at least a BIT better than it was in last years version? (I apologize if someone already asked/answered this, checked around the thread but didn't see anything on it)

I bought it last night and had a 40+ minute Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

It was epic. My friend and I were way too used to Smackdown vs. RAW 2006, and we were getting our asses handed to us based on the new controls. Finally, Birchill ran up the ladder and grabbed the briefcase.

Not really suprising it looks good, 2007 was developed for 3 systems, ps2 360 and psp so some stuff obviously had to be toned down since more than likely the 360 version was basically a port over with higher poly models.

Stil amazes me all this new tech and something as simple as hogan tearing off a t-shirt seems to be something they still can't do.

Hell, Ridge Racer 6 on 360 looks better than 7 on PS3

I bought the game on Friday morning, played it all day, and haven't bothered with it since. It really isn't an improvement on SvR06, the new additions to the roster aren't particularly exciting, they added Money In The Bank which was terrible (took me over half hour to finish the match on Easy!) and took away Bra/Panties (no big loss) and Slobberknocker (which I used to enjoy, but has gotten progressively worse over the years anyway)... to be honest, I bored with it very easily. And I played all the previous SD games for months and months before I got bored. Feel like I've wasted my money.

BAH sometimes this game frustrates me so much. I dont whether it's because I'm just out of practice or the fact the triggers aren't brilliant, but I'm finding grapple reversals annoying as fuck. I press it at exactly the time it tells me to, and yet, nothing gets reversed and I get my ass handed to me.

Yeah, grapples took a while to get used to, but I'm ok with them now. Now I just got to sort out the grapple reversals. Striking ones I'm fine with most of the time.

Just got the game, used Edge against Orton in a ladder match. You can set the ladder up in different ways on the ropes now. I won, but the way you pull the title down now is so much better

Still not sure whether to get this game at christmas now(ps2 version) having rented it from blockbuster and played it for a good 3 days, i got bored with it pretty easily though the gameplay is probably the best feature. There's one major thing that annoyed me, and that was when I was Angle in season mode and had just lost the title to Hogan, I expected to be in a storyline with Hogan to try and get my title back, but instead I had to win four matches again! And then I ended up being in a storyline with Edge/Candice Michelle, in which I turned into a woman!!! Wtf?? Also candice used her 'magic wand'(again, wtf???! And yes, I really do mean magic wand)to make edge sound like dalvari. That was just fucked up and I never want to have to go through that again, makes me ashamed to have even played the game.
