its great listening to the amount of people moaning about 3 hogans being in the game but who cares is their anybody who can honestly say that they didnt love hogan as a kid i mean ok the guy really sucks now but he can get the crowd going better than anyone and any way its only a fecking game get over it dudes

because im looking forward to the game too but all people seem to do is moan that this guys not in or that match didnt make it just enjoy what you get because you get a little more each year if you got it all what would there be to look forward too?

If we just enjoy what we get, what incentive does that give the programmers to improve the games as the sequels come out?

"We don't need to worry about putting in new match types or wrestlers. They'll just be happy to even get a wrestling game! Let's just throw in another Undertaker and a new T&A match type, then put the new game on the shelves."

We all want the game, and we're all going to buy it. But, maybe, by making a big deal about the rather glaring mistakes roster-wise, they'll fix them in next year's version, making us want next year's version when it comes out.

Keep in mind, last year people wanted a Buried Alive match. Look what's in this year's edition.

It'd be like saying "Why put out another Madden game, since 2006 has all the features I want?"

Well, between now and then, there will be new stadiums built, players will be traded, will retire, and will be drafted into the league. Coaching changes will happen. Logos will change, jerseys will change, heck, the Saints will be playing in San Antonio!

Wrestling's the same way. Workers will be signed, workers will be cut, workers will debut, and workers will retire. Arenas will be redesigned. New theme songs will be introduced. New match types will be developed.

We'll never have "everything" in a wrestling game, because the definition of "everything" changes every year.

THQ could give us the exact game we want this year, and by the time next year's game comes around, we'll want that one too, because it'll have all the stuff we couldn't have this year.

So the game's about 18 days away or so and I'm far too excited!

About 2 weeks ago I spent the evening planning a tournament for my 1st created title!

Now simply drawing the names and writing down the brackets wasn't enough! Oh no! I had to print off the roster pics, draw out little boxes to put the pics in, photocopy the boxes so that I had enough brackets! In the end I had a tournament spread over 5 A4 pages, with the SmackDown! vs Raw 2006 sign over the final bracket!!

You guys are probably not remotely interested, however, I just need a little reassurance that as a 21 year old man I'm not getting OVER excited!!??

Anyways, In case you ARE interested here are the tournay brackets...

In regards to GM Mode, the belief is that it's still in.

Many people from GameFAQs supposedly went to IGN Live and saw it. Several of these people have really high karma there, and have given accurate information in the past. Now, unless a ton of board vets decided to supertroll all of a sudden, it's in.


Besides, if I'm not mistaken, GM mode is advertised on the Australian/UK boxart that you see when you preorder it.
