it's the reversals and the grapple in general that is fucking hard. Gotta get my head around it.

Yeah, grapples took a while to get used to, but I'm ok with them now. Now I just got to sort out the grapple reversals. Striking ones I'm fine with most of the time.

Just got the game, used Edge against Orton in a ladder match. You can set the ladder up in different ways on the ropes now. I won, but the way you pull the title down now is so much better

Still not sure whether to get this game at christmas now(ps2 version) having rented it from blockbuster and played it for a good 3 days, i got bored with it pretty easily though the gameplay is probably the best feature. There's one major thing that annoyed me, and that was when I was Angle in season mode and had just lost the title to Hogan, I expected to be in a storyline with Hogan to try and get my title back, but instead I had to win four matches again! And then I ended up being in a storyline with Edge/Candice Michelle, in which I turned into a woman!!! Wtf?? Also candice used her 'magic wand'(again, wtf???! And yes, I really do mean magic wand)to make edge sound like dalvari. That was just fucked up and I never want to have to go through that again, makes me ashamed to have even played the game.

Pretty slick game. I'm enjoying it so far. I'm loving the fact that you can reverse standing top rope moves now. I actually like using the analog stick for move (although I made it so the control pad, and not the left analog stick moves.)

Also had to go through and updates some move sets, but hey.

Pretty nifty, love that the ref holds up a title and shows it around before a title match (holds two belts if it's title vs title which is nifty)

Cpu reverese grapples way to often and I don't liek the new finisher effect, they slow down part of it but the impact goes os fast and sometimes you don't even really see it well like with the Samoan Spike.

I've been playing it for around 3 hours, and I gotta take a break.
The new grapple system is a pain in the ass. Right when I start to get into the swing of things and I want to kick someone in the gut I end up taunting and getting RKO'ed 4 times... And the AI is really, really, really, really, really stupid.

If you switch to control style B, everything is the same, except you taunt with the left analog stick, and move w/ the control pad. Definitely easier.

if he's a champ he's entrance actually changes a bit, he'll carry the belt on his shoulder, take it off as he's entering the ring and then hold it up high in the middle of the ring. Noice

Too bad for the Tag team entrance ring announcer glitch though

I had a pretty cool Battle Royale in Season Mode with Lashley.

It was me, Benoit, Khali, Birchill, and someone elese.

I eliminated everyone else with ease, but then it came to Khali. I would clothesline and kick him, to no effect. And I had a bunch of power moves that I'd use all the time, and none worked on him. So, I had to change my style up. I still ended up losing, but it was a cool change in psychology.

Got this yesterday. I like it.

New grapple systems are good....

One thing that made me mad so far was that I was doing a MITB ladder match, I was Super Crazy and everytime I tried to kick RVD I would hurt myself. Guess that happenes with cruiserweights......other than that, I like it.

How the FUCK do you throw someone off a ladder or even suplex them off of it?

I tried doing a MITB last night as Edge, whenever I get up the ladder someone always suplex's me off or throws me off. Yet when I try to do it I can't figure it out.

I rule at ladder matches, I love the way you have to take down the title.

Decided to put some time into getting the pointless achievements of "Win a match with every wrestler" and "Beat everyone on the roster on hard" (to kill two birds with one stone. So far I've done the legends and women wrestlers, gonna move on to cruiserweights next then the rest of the roster. To make matters worse, it's only worth 10 and 20 points

I agree though, it was only during our match last night that I realised that you can do the run up and grab the title, its awesome

Never actually managed to run up it and grab hold of it, it caught my by complete surprise, was awesome.

My CAW is up to 99 so wont use it till you beef up.

Run up it and flick the sticks up as you reach the top and you should dangle from the titles with the same 'sweet spot' situation

Anyone been able to toss an opponent over the ropes with the fallaway slam? been trying since i got the game and can't get it to work, lashley done it to me the other day though.

I have them on control type D, but I just can't seem to tie up with the opponent to drag them to the hot spots.

I had that trouble but somehow found that pressing the circle button aswell as r1+ the direction button works.
