In the real world he should get a few but based on the fact that Chara got 0 for his Interference injury hit, by NHL precedent if he gets any the Canucks should be outraged.


OH and Bwhahahahahaha Don Cherry just lost the last 0.00000001% of credibility he ever had. He just argued that Boston should be able to put in a scratched player (Tyler Seguin) because Horton got hurt. 8-1 beatdown win for the Bruins.

Thomas was great and so was the offense. Luongo quit near the end of the game while Vancouver had its chances (40 saves by Timmy).

Feel bad for Horton but Lucic and others taunting with the hands to Burrows. Doesn't matter what happens this series for Burrows since now he's going to be known as a finger bitter for years with a lot of players upset at him (majority not even playing in the Cup).

So is Alain Vigneault going to call out Jannick Hansen for the stick slap on Krejci since he made such a big deal about Peverley doing it to Bieksa or is it okay this time around? My guess is he won't bring it up on his own unlike before.

Coincidentally enough, this is the 25th year anniversary that the B's raped the Nucks for Dennis Pederson in exchange for Cam Mother Fuckin Neely AAAAND Glen Wesley.

Worst trade in Nucks history.

It's a bit interesting to note how people completely wrote the Bruins off yet it took the Canucks 59+ minutes for them to score a goal in game 1 and they had to come from behind and then score in OT to win in game 2. And now when the Bruins rout the Canucks they blew their load and it's going to be all Vancouver for the next few games.

This series is entirely up to Thomas.

If the B's win, it's because he's superman.

If the B's lose, it's because he's human.

Game 1 was owned by the Nucks, the only reason it came down to 19 seconds was because of Thomas.

Game 3 was owned by the B's...because they were motivated by the Horton hit, and no one from the Nucks responded.

Nucks will respond next game...guaranteed. You better home old man Thomas doesnt take a nap.

KK, can you please explain to me what Daniel Sedin was doing on the collision with Andrew Ference? If you don't recall, the hit/post-whistle scuffle resulted in game misconducts for both. It was a shoulder to shoulder hit (clean) and Sedin went down clutching his face...then he went after Ference. Why? Enlighten me please.

People put far too much emphasis on the biting yes. The same people who cheered for Horton's ECF game 7 winner were the first to cry foul that Burrows was playing. I don't care about the biting anymore. I think the way Vancouver was dicking around about it was stupid but that was game 2.

I actually don't know why you brought it up. Maybe Bergeron overreacted but it was a legitimate occurrence as opposed to Sedin pretending to get hit in the face to draw a penalty which you equated it to. I don't think they're at all comparable.

Both teams have had successful years, both teams have hungry fans and hungrier teams that deserve to raise the best trophy in all of sports...

I know I talked a lot of (drunken) shit after game 1....but in all honesty, Nucks, Habs, Bruins...those are my teams....

No, I'm not at all saying that. Thomas had quite the dive in game 1 to draw a penalty, we're guilty too. I think it's just a bit embarrassing that he was so blatant about it because there's a difference between a stick grazing you/reacting like it was a sledgehammer and not even being touched in the head/acting like you were shanked across the eye. A little realism maybe?

Just came across an interesting stat. The Bruins are the third team to score eight goals in a game in the SCF. The other two teams were the '91 Pens & the '96 Aves.
