Maven's tough enough theme was awesome, The biggest highlight for him was Throwing Undertaker over the top.
Shame he didn't even get a decent push or title win.

I believe that is a promo to sell tickets. Undertaker always gets some sort of vignette hyping his return. Like I said... I hope im wrong but I just think its to good to be true. And besides what would they do with im? Battle with the new guys? Have 1 match, loose to taker then retire? Put him in a storyline with rKo, Twisted mind vs. Twisted mind. A feud with Cena would be lame. The only plausible idea would be a feud with the Undertaker and that cant happen every week. It would be a talk fest with only PPV matches.... I just dont see it.

What I'm trying to say is, if their already showing you taker will return on Raw then what's the point in this promo video. It's supposed to keep people guessing, and for them to advertise another video saying takers return will be on this date. then the promo is pointless. The promo doesn't even feel like an Undertaker return video. But we have we will find out eventually.

TV ticket taping prices aren't that expensive. I don't think they would do this just to have people buy tickets to their Raw or they wouldn't have blown that the Taker was going to be there already. It's mainly for TV ratings as they think that it would be better than using it to sell the buyrates. Makes them come off as less desperate then TNA. They are so secure about their spot that they will blow a big surprise on TV without giving much thought about it.

If TNA did this promo nobody would care though. Since TNA does this sort of shit every PPV because they think it sells to have a surprise every 20 seconds. TNA would also make it on the PPV date because they are really hardup for the cash and the buyrates.

Good timing on the WWE to keep people guessing like this on the Road to Wrestlemania. This discussion won't end until 2.22.2011. Then the second guessing on who it was (or should have been) will begin.

Maybe it's the announcement of Old School Nitro and when it will happen. I bet its coming on the Road to WrestleMania since it is in Atlanta.

If he wants to do it he should do it and he's earned the right. It's his legacy so it's his choice. Besides they are going to be making a DVD so he's gonna be getting paid by Vince McMahon anyways. Besides when he said that he was proud of the fact that he never signed with Vince he didn't completley understand the Rock's character when he was shitting on Booker T. The Rock always shitted on every wrestler Booker would have been the exception to that rule if he did it. By shitting on him he was actually respecting him enough to treat him like the top stars of the WWF like Triple H, The Undertaker, Chris Jericho and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

I think he's earned the right to have his last memory in the ring not be a stupid feud with the Main Event Mafia or fucking around with the whole bullshit with Immortal/Fortune/Hogan etc. He's earned the right not to be an after though in a shit feud. He should be at WrestleMania and he should be in the fucking main event.

I do not get this attitude some people have that there HAS TO BE a famous wrestler who never worked with Vince. Why? What does that have to do with anything? It literally doesn't matter at all. Did I miss something? Is Vince now the scum of the earth? And signing with him is some sort of knock against someone's honor and nobility?

Also, you know what would really showcase young talent? If they worked with Sting. Sting does a great job of making people he's in the ring with look good.

There's still Larry Zybysco if you guys consider him a a famous wrestler. I don't get it either.

It's not like Ted Turner wasn't a monopolizing asshole who fired his own son from Turner Broadcasting. It's not like Ted Turner wasn't responsible for the clusterfuck known as the 24-News cycle when he made CNN.

Do you know what the difference between Vince and Ted? Vince cared about his wrestling company because it was the only asset he had. When somebody signs with the WWE they are paid by Vince. When somebody signed with WCW they were paid by Ted Turner through Eric Bischoff/Turner Broadcasting/AOL or whatever.

Vince and Linda put every penny they had into the WWE and it turned out to be a winner for them. Ted Turner may have lost WCW and most of his empire but the man is still a damn billionaire. He could afford to fail but The McMahon's couldn't. Fritz Von Erich had the chance to capitalize on WCCW's national appeal before Vince did and take the company to a greater audience than ever before, but he didn't have the balls.

Honestly,

I don't see them using a month to build Sting vs Undertaker..

I do think Sting is coming to WWE but I could see him interfering in Undertaker vs Barrett match, thus resulting in DQ (leaving streak intact).

Which would anger both wrestlers and thus lead to a feud for the next year that could go anywhere, maybe Taker vs Sting for next years WM.

I see NWO WolfPac/ or regular NWO having a reunion at Wrestlemania, taking out both Factions of NexSES & Corre in NWO Fashion. Lots of members of the NWO will be at Wrestlemania and who's to say that Vince isn't calling up the others?

I think that'd be a huge tribute to WCW in the WCW Themed Wrestlemania, specially as both factions (NexSES & Corre) are both heel groups so NWO would be totally over, specially in Atlanta.

I've been thinking about the idea of it being Sting. Why would it have to be Taker vs. Sting? We aren't even considering the reason for the Undertaker to return on Raw. If Sting was to debut on 2/21/11, here's how it could play out:

The lights go out as the Nexus is in the ring. The Undertaker returns to Raw to get revenge on the Nexus for the buried alive match. He gets overwhelmed by the group and when things look grim, the lights go out again. The lights come back revealing Sting as the Crow with the bat making work of the Nexus. For the next week, they build the angle exploring a possible alliance between Taker & Sting. At Wrestlemania, a tag team match between the Nexus & Taker & Sting with them winning.

Taker keeps his streak, Sting wins one at Wrestlemania, & the fans get to witness the alliance of two legends at Wrestlemania.

Let's just assume it ISN'T Sting, and that Taker is thrown into another match. That leaves us with a card of:

-WWE Title: Cena vs. Miz
-WHW Title: Edge vs. Del Rio (additional possibilities: vs. Ziggler and/or vs. Christian, triple threat or fatal 4 way)
-Triple H vs. Sheamus
-Taker vs. Kane (or vs. Barrett, or Taker/Show vs. Kane/Barrett)
-Orton vs. Punk
-Lawler vs. Cole (or Riley)
-Rey vs. Rhodes? (I dunno, they aren't leaving Rey off of Mania)
-Nexus vs. Corre?
-Divas Match (hopefully involving Kong)
-IC or US Title match, not enough room for both and presumably no MITB to fall back on

I dunno. I know that guys bring their A-game to WM but that feels like the weakest WM card in years. Taker/Sting would single-handedly change that and be enough to get my $50 right then and there. For that reason I can't buy into the rumors that WWE haven't even tried talking to Sting.
