Judging by the tournament brackets it will be Reigns vs Ambrose for the belt. Maybe Barrett instead of Ambrose because they like face vs heal. I wouldn't be surprised by a Shamus cash in at some point either.

Looks to me like they are setting it up for Reigns to get booed.

He likely gets booed on Monday V Cesaro.

If he's up against Ryback at SurvSer theres a chance the crowd goes with Ryback. Then if Ambrose ends up in the Finals, Reigns will definitely be booed. There you have his justification for turning. Next night on RAW he can talk about how he did the right thing, didn't sell out, but the people still turned on him week after week. So he figured he might as well do what's right for himself.

I feel like Reigns as a heel opens the door for a lot of matches down the road (Ambrose, Lesnar, Rollins when he's back, Cena).

Reigns doesn't need to be set up to get booed. The guy sucks and has no charisma and WWE pushes him that's why he get booed. A heel turn would do wonders for him though.

Yeah, this. It is actually really good booking on this occasion. Making sure of the boos means they can count on the night playing out as they planned. The best heels are always those that have a hint of truth in what they say and the fans hate them for it.

A bitter, violent Reigns or a cocky, sold out Reigns would both be much better for him and he can be used as a top heel and sold pretty much instantly as one. So many more combos in this situation too.

A Lesnar rumble win would set up the match they want too, which I think fans would go crazy for.

The tournament is going pretty much as I predicted. The only thing I had changed in my head was Owens going earlier to set up an IC Title match at Survivor Series, and to avoid the "secondary champs both lose in the semis" dynamic they're heading towards. But it's not terrible and was my first gut instinct about the whole thing.

I'm actually feeling the Reigns heel turn. If they put Reigns over cleanly, I'm just going to laugh though.

I think the field is good. Makes it sort of seem there is no clear cut front runner. There is a front runner but it's a good distraction from that there are so many good wrestlers in the tournament who haven't had a fair shake.

Probably and I'm sure he'll be great in the role but the dude is great as a face. Roman needs the turn but I don't know if they want to pull the trigger on that one. Ambrose just doesn't seem like the sell out type though.

Yeah, I know but just feel like Ambrose has that Stone Cold factor to him where people can relate to him. It could be done but his character is so great as a face I couldn't see him as a sell out chicken shit heel hiding behind HHH. Just feel like Roman or even Cesaro could use a heel turn.
