It's absolutely fucking amazing to me this return of "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt would NOT have happened if Vince McMahon had not been found out of paying off women for his sexual misconducts.

I’m really struggling to think of a good Bray Wyatt segment after 2014. I guess maybe the tag team with Orton wasn’t too bad initially.

Just saw it pointed out that there were 2 mystery womens titles sitting next to "Abby" in the Bray segment when they showed her. Not sure if they are the singles titles or the tag titles, weird either way though.

Glad Bray is back. One of the few personalities that has made me interested in watching the past 10 years or so.

There’s definitely some stuff there that I’m sure he’d have not suggested (the red light on the Cell match, the hammer spot in the Cell, come to mind immediately). I wonder where he’d have fallen with the title win? Creatively it’s a zero sum decision, and he ended up being killed by Goldberg BUT it’s a world title win in WWE and not everyone can say that.

My reading, of the return was it was Bray breaking out of the Funhouse that he’d been trapped in by The Fiend/Mr Rogers Bray. A sort of reset but I’m hoping to see another evolution of the character.

What is the “Bray Wyatt is a creative genius and Vince McMahon ruined all his ideas” disposition based on?

Do you think Vince put together all the elements of the Firefly Funhouse and The Fiend? That seems naive. What about that cinematic shitshow with John Cena? Bray could have very possibly wanted to go even more into the realm of stupid with Vince reeling him in.

It’s very possible Vince was just a scapegoat in the sheets of Bray’s bad ideas. If it works, it’s yay Bray. If it doesn’t? Boo! Blame Vince.

AEW is proof of what happens when you give wrestlers too much creative freedom. There’s no guarantee at all that Bray Wyatt’s creative for himself isn’t even more ridiculous than Vince’s, who had his entire product in mind.

We’ll see, but the only good Brays were developmental Bray and Wyatt Family Bray, but even that got tired.

Some things reeked of Vince. Seth crying in the corner, for example. I think that awful Hell in a Cell finish would have been his. I wouldn’t no where to draw the line with anything else though.

Bray’s creative may have been to put himself over Goldberg? But Goldberg beating him was a mercy at that point.

Depends who we’re talking. Did the original Family get Rowan or Braun to the next level?

Rumours of Lumis, Bo Dallas, Rowan returning, Corbin, etc. They’d make a good carnival/creepshow type thing, but these aren’t talents you really even want to catapult.

There’s also factions everywhere you look at the moment - something AEW gets criticised for.

It also puts him/them in The Bloodline’s orbit and that would be another booking into a corner situation if you want to keep the best thing in wrestling going.

It’s a bit derivative of what he’s done before. I’d like to see a further evolution of the character.

IF... they go with a faction, they need to come in and cause pure chaos like The Shield did in their early days. Anything else would be the same ole same ole, with Bray losing major matchups.
