the only reason the game has no reply value is due to the extreme patience you need to make a caw

the loading is terrible, I wasn't able to make a second CAW on this game, and that's why I stopped playing.

I played WMXIX, DOR and hell even WMX8 for the full year till the next game was out

There's also no challenge in running a second guy through season mode. I mean, it would require painstaking bookkeepping to do someone else "ground up," and I don't fucking want to do that. The characters are pretty badass when you create them on more points, but that takes a lot of the fun out.

Further, the mask options prevent me from creating wrestlers I created last year. I can't figure out what they removed, but a couple of my throwback characters actually seem to me MORE limited than in previous iterations. And even worse, it took me 45 minutes trying to edit the mask just to discover this.

The Story mode is better than last year, but is ultimately pointless. I haven't even bothered with a full second run, whereas DoR I did over 20 (I deleted some characters and made more...I'd deliberately re-run characters with the copy function, just for something to do). The main accomplishment of Stamina is to slow down the game, and it's not like it was blindingly fast before. The graphics are muddier, the gameplay is glitchier, and the new ads just aren't enough.

what pisses me off is they took out my caws hairsytle

but I didn't mean making CAWs to go through seaosn, i meant Just making them for fun. You could make literally anything on wmxix. Lost a few things in DOR (but the change in gear colour made up for it) then even more in DOR 2. Making your own storylines with CAWs is fun sometimes

I've posted it before, but check out this power ranger I made on wmxix just by looking at a picture, straight from scratch. like seriously if I can make something like this, anyone can make anything.

But yeah, the one thing gamecube wrestlers always had over the playstation ones were CAW, and now DOR has lost even that.

I did kind of make reference to taking 45 minutes to find out my mask options wouldn't even work. And when I mentioned season, I said there was "also no challenge," implying that I was speaking in addition to what had already been said.

DoR's CAWs had the "believable look" which meant that even an inexperienced fuck could make a quality CAW. They've made it longer and harder. A shame.

yeah seriously

this is the only wrestling game i've had where I only made 1 caw the first week

if they were gonna add the load times (whether it's their fault or not) they should have known people wouldn't want to spend years making CAWs and should have added the ability to import CAWs from DOR, especially since it's a continued storyline.

I hate complaining, but it's a real let down

DoR 2 won't even let me make some of the characters I made in the original.

It features a slower CAW interface, longer loading times, and a less intuitive system.

The new additions are Story mode, which sucks outright, and runs out of steam fast, and the Stamina system, which is utter shite.

Go to IGN or Gamespot, look at pics, trust me, if you want to buy a game on CAWS along(which in my opinion is a waste of money, they're only caws) then don't buy DOR2.

Yeah, they took a few of the clothes out and it's harder to get faces and non-whte skin tones looking right.
Took out some hair, too, and it's harder to get the facial features just right as well (especially again for non-white charicteristics). It's not impossible, but it was a lot easier on DoR 1.
