Being huge has nothing to do with ability.

He got over based on the fact that he was typical heel that used a gimmick to finish a match, and he hung with the REAL popular guys. He's not anything in the ring, and while it's usually a compliment to say someone wrestles today like they did 20 years ago - it's not in his case.

I watched wrestling backt hen and Orton's claim to fame was a feud with Snuka that put him in the corner as Roddy {Piper's lackey at WM 1, that stupid cast gimmick he used for 5 years, and a midcard team with Don Muraco that led to Muraco's face run late in his career. And that's it. he was a terrible worker, even for those days and wouldn't even have had a job if he wasn't second generation.
