I was over my friends house when I got a text from my other friend who said Eddie was dead, I was devastated, I just said to my friend I had to go and rushed back home to see if it was true.

RIP.

This is absolutely unreal, I watched the WWE Experience this morning and marked out when Eddie got Ken Kennedy disqualified, it was classic Guerrero. He truly was one of the greats, and I'm not just saying that because he's dead. This wrestling death has hit me harder than any other, I will miss him so much.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kennedy is thinking the same thing. But it's no one's fault, that is what the wrestling industry is, and Eddie was a true proffessional.

I doubt a chairshot would of killed him, plus he took it last week, so i doubt the delayed shot would of caused death now.

The said truth is that in the past he abused his body, we all knew he did, regardless of when he stopped the damage may have already been done. I'm saying this is what happened this is just an opinion, but I doubt his death was the cause of a chairshot

Vince McMahon and Chavo Guerrero held a press conference regarding the untimely death of Eddie Guerrero today at 12:45 CT. At this time, the circumstances surrounding his death are still unclear.

'Eddie Guerrero was found in his hotel room in Minneapolis with his toothbrush in his mouth. He apparently died while brushing his teeth. At this point, the belief among WWE personnel is that Guerrero died of heart failure.

Shortly after Guerrero's body was found and removed from the room, Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, Dean Malenko and Chavo Guerrero visited the hotel room to say their goodbyes. WWE wrestlers and staffers were visibly shaken and emotional while leaving the hotel to go the Target Center, the site of tonight's Raw/Smackdown taping. Word from WWE sources is that the tenor of tonight's taping will be dramatically different and that the Smackdown show will need to be revised.

Guerrero's death is now the lead story on WWE.com, under the headline "Tragic Loss". The article says that WWE is "deeply saddened" by Guerrero's death, and provides no further details on his passing.

Eddie Guerrero had breakfast this morning with Chavo Guerrero and at least one other wrestler, then returned to his hotel room. When he didn't come out of his room in the expected amount of time, friends went looking for him and found him dead.

Guerrero has a long history of battling pain pill addiction, a struggle that was chronicled in a UPN special last year which is now on DVD. There is no firm confirmation, though, at this time, that his death was related to his lifelong battle.

I can not believe what i am hearing. I think I feel sick now. I've heard of all the stories of how many death-defying experiences he had. But now, to lose his life over something he had no control over is even worse. RIP Eddie, you will be missed.
