Apparently Daunte Culpepper will make his decision today, and it's looking like either Saints or Dolphins (GO DOLPHINS. Culpepper + Dolphins = Bliss for me.
![]() Probably whoever doesn't get Culpepper will get Brees, or so I'm guessing. |

Edge gets more money in the first 4 years than Alexander, apparently
Browns signed Ted Washington and Dave Zastudil Vikings have apparently made a huge offer for Steve Hutchinson, which the Seahawks have 7 days to match |

Good thing the Colts signed Wayne and not Edge, in that offense a good WR is really tough to get. Didn't Stockley have 1,000 yards two seasons ago? They got their priorities straight haha

The Rams are doing what the Vikings did last year in signing big names just for the sake of signing big names.

Did the Redskins really just get Randle El too? lol Why? They already have Moss, Lloyd and Patten, they don't need all these wideouts

Didn't you hear? Dan Snyder likes giving money to talent they don't need.
If i were the Colts I woulda kept James, let Wayne go. Back to the Redskins why trade 2 draft picks for Lloyd?? what the fuck has he done that's so special, they coulda jus signed Randle El and that's it. Apperently they wana go with a 3 wr package . |

Redskins are morons. Unless they signed Randle El just as bait to try and get draft picks back or something...which I doubt.
Heard an unconfirmed rumor that Arrington signed with the Giants, but until I see it on ESPN or some other eliable source, I'm not gonna believe it. Hope it's true though. |

Don't think it is as terrible a signing for the Redskins as everyone is saying...it is pretty retarded and unnecessary but that's usually how it is with them and it works. They are really dangerous now; Moss, Cooley, Portis, Randle El, Jason Campbell LOL

And it hasn't worked out for them. Just take a look at their records in the past years:
1994: 3-13 1995: 6-10 1996: 9-7 (no playoffs) 1997: 8-7-1 (no playoffs) 1998: 6-10 1999: 10-6 2000: 8-8 2001: 8-8 2002: 7-9 2003: 5-11 2004: 6-10 In that time period, they made the playoffs once. Acquiring stars such as Bruce Smith and Deion Sanders for big money sure made them a powerhouse, didn't it? |

I don't get why they would give up two picks for Lloyd, they probably could have used a 2nd round pick on a WR who would be just as productive as him. Unless they think Lloyd is gonna blow up and be a star, I don't really see the point. He was just an average wideout last season

Ravens signed Mike Anderson and re-signed Jamal Lewis
-edit- Eagles signed Darren Howard Redskins signed Archuleta Apparently the Vikings' tender to Steve Hutchinson contains the proviso that he must be the highest paid member of the team, so if Seattle wants to match it and retain him, they are going to have to spend a *lot* - possibly more than they can afford. If he does go we'll see how much of a difference there is in both Seattle's and Minny's running games respectively. Last edited by Mr. Monday Morning; 03-13-2006 at 12:12 PM. |

They freed up $4.4 million a week ago as part of the deal that made linebacker LaVar Arrington a free agent, and they shed several veterans on the eve of free agency to create more room. Likewise, it was reported that they planned to convert $13.5 million in roster bonus payments into guarantees, which would then be spread over five years. And don't forget about the extra $7.5 million in cap room that popped onto the books as part of the new CBA. Our guess is that these new deals will leave the 'Skins close to the $102 million ceiling for 2006, and that there will be more tinkering with contracts in order to free up more money for more signings. Eventually, they'll need cap space to sign their incoming rookies. |

And as per Randle El: The 'skins know he's an amazing slot WR, but probably an average at best #2, so now they have a sick 3-WR set. And Patten couldn't finish last season, and wasn't a slot then, either. But then Patten catches the reverse, stops, screen to Randle El, bomb to Moss... it's possible! And I'm holding out hope that Culpepper will be a Viking next year. ![]() ![]() |
