No DQ: Bobby Lashley vs. Vince McMahon: Lillian's looking taxable tonight. I mean, come on, clothes like that have got to cost a pretty penny. The Lesnar pyro for Lashley is totally unnecessary along with that bouncing. Vince goes for the mic and blabs. Lashley shows he's capable of being a stupid babyface by just listening to him. Cade and Murdoch try a run in but get obliterated. Chris Masters tries his luck but can't get the Masterlock. Lashley makes him pay. Johnny Nitro gets launched and powerslammed. McMahon brings out the big guns with Umaga. Slugfest burns some time and that allows Vince to go for a cheap shot. Toss-Up Samoan Drop allows Vince to get the pin. Yeah, four guys couldn't do it but one simple move is enough to let a 61-year old man get the pin on their next hot new face. Beat down commences. Would it have been so wrong for Lashley to get the win over Vince? Match rating: NO STARS, BIYATCH

Thing is.... Trump COULD be willing to shave his head. We assume he isn't, but Trump shaving his head would lead to massive publicity for both WWE and The Apprentice. Does anyone here think that going back to mostly squash matches on TV would make PPVs more must-see and therefore profitable? Or would squash TV lead to declining interest and therefore less success?

It's just.... how many WrestleMania moments are they giving away here tonight??

Hopefully none. If this is Wrestlemania, then Wrestlemania is going to suck huge donkey balls.

Squash matches always make me sick, especially when good workers have to get jobbed out. Which is what's happeneing since we have to fit so many contracts on to one show.

Back from the break, for those who love Vince or those who just turned in, more of Lashley's loss and Vince talking about Lashley's loss. Vince calls in Eugene dressed as Donald Trump. He makes fun of the baldness and drives off.

Match time with more separated roster goodness! Randy Orton and Ken Kennedy vs. The Hardys: I've noticed they don't spell it with the 'z' anymore. It's just not the same. Orton and Matt start out. Elbow drop from the top gets a two for Matt. Jeff in getting a two off a dropkick. Orton drags Jeff to his corner and tags Kennedy in. Kennedy's all about the beat down but Jeff comes back with a headscissors. Kennedy gives him the old "bar counter" treatment by tossing him outside. Heel shenanigans makes Jeff the face-in-peril. Kennedy tries a super back drop but Jeff turns that into a Whisper in the Wind. Orton gets tagged in while Matt gets the not-so hot tag. Bulldog/clothesline combo. Side Effects for both the heels. Kennedy breaks up a Twist of Fate. It all breaks down as Jeff goes for Poetry in Motion but fails to connect on Orton. Orton finishes Matt with an RKO. Not bad and it's not like Matt or Jeff have a hope in hell of winning Sunday. Match Rating: *

I think squash matches do have a place on TV. It keeps guys strong, and being a plain old jobber never hurt some of the biggest stars in the business when it was their time to shine. As long as a guy gets a good introduction, a strong push and a winning character, a secret history as a jobber becomes a forgotten thing of the past.

For example, when we had squash matches, every wrestler had signature moves and a finisher. Can anyone tell me what Johnny Nitro's finisher is? Or Kenny Dykstra's? Eugene's?

The thing is, squash matches aren't done well anymore. When they're done they seem more like a detriment to the squashed instead of a benefit for the squasher. Dykstra and Eugene have both beened jobbed out since the beginning of their solo career, which is why they don't have a finisher.

just thought of something. how much has the Woman's title fallen since just last year. I mean was one of the best fueds going into Mania last year. had a great match. Was all good.
