Got it yesterday. Internets been down so I couldn't come on here and rave about it. But it's awesome. Already unlocked and played all Metallica songs in Career mode.

The DLC songs say "Death Magnetic DLC" so I doubt we'll be getting any more songs for this.

Hopefully at least for Guitar Hero World Tour we'll get some more Met songs.

This is awesome so far. Played about 15 songs, and out of all those, only two non-metallica songs are sub-par. The rest is a fucking blast.

Orion is my favorite so far.

Also, this is the most fun default setlist of all the music games thus far, imo. Played almost every song now, and still, those previously mentioned 2 songs are the only ones that aren't ridiculous fun. And even then, they are still decent. They aren't horrible or anything.

Kinda sucks you can't make your own setlist in career mode. You can in quickplay, but you can't choose the venue you play in.

I remember seeing that bands got paid a flat rate around $28k per song on Rock Band. I wonder how much Metallica got paid for this.

I've been playing the shit out of this since I got it last week. The only minor problems I have with it is that "The thing that should not be" feels like such an anti-climatic end to the career. Also I hate w some of the starpower phrases can go on for what feels like forever. Other than that I love this game. If anyone is looking to start a band career on this tonight add me on XBL.

Same as WT, some different effects, though. I can't access my tracks from WT yet I can preview them and have them play on Met. Kinda strange. Also some of the effects change as well, especially on my "The Game" cover. Ah well, probably won't update my WT tracks anyway.

Just bought it on sale for $30 shipped. Figured it wouldn't be this price till at least after GH5. Even then, it'd be more expensive if I purchased all the songs I like via DLC. Good deal, imo.

Like I just told Roxer, I never thought I'd say this. I beat the guitar career on expert. This is my favorite GH game so far. I really like how the career is laid out, how you don't have fixed sets, and can pick whatever song in the tier that you want. Love this game. What is up with James looking jacked up.

It's all in that 'GH cartoon' look. I'm used to it by now.

I try to mimic the animation cues on stage when I play the music. 'Cause Metallica rocks (the jumping on "Fuel" is kinda tricky, though).
