Back from commercials, Regal is upset about having to manage Eugene. Eric lays down the law though. Eugene's vanished though from where Regal left him and he's out with JR and King. It's so sad to see the guy heavily touted as "Mr. Wrestling" in OVW show up as Doink the Clown and a "Warren" knock-off. Did we go back in time to 1995? Conway, Benjamin, and Haas all got decent introductions and were taken seriously and we got to see the nature of their abilities without a silly gimmick in the way. Why does this have to be any different? How am I, Average Joe Wrestling Fan, who has never seen Nick Dinsmore wrestle or work the mic before now, supposed to take this? Who does it benefit? Dinsmore? Well he gets airtime that's for sure but we're looking at "Moppy" all over again if they keep this up. Are you telling me there was no other way to handle his debut. First Tourette's now this? Shit, let's bring in John from TE3 as a severe ADD individual. WHATEVER.

Rhyno vs. Kane: Kane man-beasthandles Rhyno all over the ring and slams Rhyno's shoulder into the post. STRIKING GAME commences and he chokes Rhyno down in the corner. Rhyno slugs back and delivers a flying forearm off the ropes which snaps. Rhyno Gores the shit out Kane but is slow to count and it only gets a two. Chokeslam from Kane gets the win. There's just no hope for Rhyno. But hey, Eugene, baby!!! EUGENE!!! NO STARS, BIYATCH! Edge runs in to brawl with Kane as Rhyno gets totally ignored. Kane no sells a spear and proceeds to beat up Edge. Kane looks to Pillmanize Edge's hand but he fights back with a low blow with the hand's cast. Yeah, whatever.

In the back, Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit aren't too worried about Bischoff's threats. They have words about Backlash until Foley breaks it up with his BARBED WIRE bat. Johnny Nitro arrives ordering no weapons. Michaels jokes a bit about being nervous and Foley surrenders the bat. Benoit, just cause he's Benoit, hits Nitro's hurt arm for fun.
