Christ, it pisses me off when GTA gets blamed for shit like this while Driv3r and True Crime walk free. And those stupid church fanatics putting it on their stupid lists when they do a whole bunch of things when people are not looking.

I actually enjoyed it for a while since I like realistic games. I will admit that I did have problems with driving at first but I got use to it. I do like the fact that the cops have to arrive at a crime scene and see you before you get chased by them. True Crime is a lot worse since it has dragons even though the title is True Crime.

Yeh, I use R1 to slide quick as hell and usually get 7.5 seconds on every lap, going to have to try it in first person next time around...

Also, Im going to try to get to OG status today, a good place to get your stats up is the area in Area 69 where the Hyrdas and Hunter is located because it seems the AI is too stupid to drive through that side gate to get in after you, so just go there with a large supply of Rockets and have fun...

The reason the GTA series gets blamed for it is because they are the one who kind of brought up the idea of a free roaming world, they had the break out game, and most people consider those games cheap knockoffs. However, I do plan to purschase Fear and Respect when it comes out in late 2005...

Yes, you have to click X 999-times. then click 1000 nine times, then click 25 three times then click 5 four times. and you will have the bet of 9,999,995, it helps if you're playing through the vcr so you can watch tv while you click, or it could get quite boring.

use a mule truck or any truck that is tall but you can climb up on (or get a car to stand on to jump on the truck), that would make it easier

Christ, I just caused the biggest wreck that I've ever seen in San Andreas . . . I drove my favorite and best looking car out of the garage of the house near the free way and drove past the barrier next to the house and patiently drove the sexy car across the road that was disconnecting from the highway when all of a sudden a pick up truck (the big ones, not the bobcat) suddenly slammed into my door and caused me to skid out onto the other road's lane. I quickly backed up to avoid any more damage. I sat in the car for a moment on the field watching dozens of cars slamming into each other, flipping over on each other, and exploding on each other. This lasted for a long time and there was a whole bunch of fire in front of me. Christ, I've never seen any wreck as big as that in SA. The highways are dangerous in Las Ventureas(sp?)!

They need working blinkers in the next game. Just put it on a random timer, say out of 100. If it lands between 1 and 75 then the blinker works, if it lands between 75 and 100 they just switch lanes without it. That way the majority of the time I can tell when someone is going to go in my lane and it resembles real world technique.

I'm not gonna go back through 57 pages to see if anyone posted anything about it so...anyone got any tips for hijacking the magnet plane wotsit out of the base in Venturas? I jetpacked up to the landing pad but I got hit with a SAM (even though I'd already ditched the pack

) and then got shot up since I had no health left

as soon as you start the mission, there is a pariot driving out of the base, you could run in when it leaves, or use the J.P. to boost over the fence and land infront of the warehouse then go though with the whole mission instead of being a pussy and trying to get the chopper and go

ROFL Just got the jetpack, it's the greatest thing in the world. Is it only available for pick up from your airport or is it dotted around the place?

Only at your airstrip. Also you don't need to fly over the fence to reach the chopper, on the southside their is a fence that can be knocked down with a car, just make sure your destroy the SAM's before you take the chopper.

Dave, check the map that came with the game...

I got into a war with the cops today next to the Wang Cars. Mini gun is awesome even though running is difficult when you're holding it. I shot down a chopper and tried to run away but the explosion left me with about 1 ounce of help and part of the first got on me which caused a painful death. I'm trying to focus on Metal Gear Solid but that game doesn't seem as fun even though it's a nice challenge.

Played it again last night for the first time this year I believe. I basically just went around and got a bunch of new clothes (I only had like four shirts before) and a bunch of tats.

they need to make a grand theft auto that isn't useless after you beat the storyline. sure, there are lots of cool things you can do, but they're so spaced out over an enormous map, and it's annoying going to specific places sometimes. it takes five minutes to get anywhere. cops are harder, so just running around killing people isn't really as fun. and there's so much useless stuff, like doing 10 crappy bulldozer missions and driving school.
