Avoid:

The Miz RTWM. (Can't believe you can mess up a story-mode based on the Miz but the guy found a way)

I'm in the process of playing an Edge RTWM and one that is based on the false rumor that Sting would be facing the Undertaker at WrestleMania.

If anybody has found any good ones send a PM to me. I want to make as many reviews of these modes that I can. I really love the create-a-story feature and want to draw as much attention to it as possible.

Question: Does the no downloaded rule for Create-a-story mean you can't have CAWs you downloaded or you can't include the DLC?

I honestly don't enjoy this type of engine anymore. Every year I create lots and lots of CAW's and do a season. This year, WWE Universe mode seems great to do an all CAW season, but I'm sick of the engine! The same controls, the same movements, the same....everything!

I have a feeling WWE All Stars will be fun for a while, like Legends of Wrestlemania, then die out eventually.

I want a brand-freaking-new Smackdown vs Raw this year with a different engine. Make it seem like it's new. How about a different name as well? Smackdown vs. Raw has run its course IMO. Especially just naming it after the year it comes out. I miss the days of "Hey, Here Comes the Pain was Great. So was No Mercy." Nowadays its like "2010 was a good game, that was the one with the roster tweaks and all..." I hope someone understands what I'm saying

They can add tons of modes but if the game play does not change..then you might as well not do shit. They have added some cool features IMO in the last 2 years. Now it's just time for a new game engine..

I hope that when we finally get a new engine, we also get weight detection back, I hate having Rey Mysterio have no problems at all lifting Big Show,Zeke,Kane,Taker,Henry.

The weight engine, I think, should be like a meter thing. Like if Rey was going to slam Big Show, a mini game thing should appear. Not just a button masher, a mini game, like there was on Smackdown game, I FORGET WHAT YEAR IT WAS, where when the match began, there would be a small mini game on who would get the upper hand.

That was 2006 I believe. I don't know why they removed that option, it was nice when playing against friends. The best weight detection so far has been No Mercy for N64. I remember I could never lift up Andre the Giant and when I finally did..holy shit.
I am all for the mini-games for weight as long as the small guys have a huge handicap when playing it. Otherwise, we master the stupid mini-game and it's lame again.

And that weight detection needs to carry over to signatures/finishers. Can't have a 200lb guy powerbombing a 500lb guy simply cos it's his finisher.

And it shouldn't just be about lifting. Include weight advantages/disadvanatges for taking a dropkick or being Irish Whipped.

Just got back into this game this week. Made all the draft moves and did stuff like moving Jericho over to Legends and deleting my Johnny Curtis CAW (since they don't seem to be in a hurry to use him). Playing with the new rosters sort of reignited my interest in the game. Anybody else?

Simmed through about a year of my "funny game" (where Raw is all the current WWE people and SmackDown is celebs, cartoon characters, alumni, etc.) - decided to hold a draft during the week after Backlash across all three shows. Raw vs. SD matches with the winners getting a draft pick which was determined by me closing my eyes and scrolling down the WWE Universe Superstars page, first person I landed on from the losing brand switches shows.

Actually watched the matches while doing this, so I got some funny results. Darren Young ran out and turned on Sin Cara (apparently they had formed a team during the year I simmed), allowing SmackDown's Vance Archer to win the first pick of the draft - which wound up being Evan Bourne.

So later on I did a Bourne vs. Mysterio match and the game had Bourne win in a 90 second squash match. Hilarious.

I have this recurring character that I always make up in the SvR games (since about HCTP or SvR "'05", anyway...), black guy, I usually try to give him some kind of pimp/boxer look and gimmick, and ever since '10 came out I'd given him the Nexus theme as though he were a member of their group.

Long story short, it's not easy finding paint tool logos, especially with 128×128 or 256×256 pixel-by-pixel grids, like how you could find all kinds of logos online for CAWS in WM XIX and DoR 1 & 2 on the GameCube (at least, if you knew where to look you could...). Then somehow I had the seemingly moronic idea to search YT for Paint Tool logos, and wouldn't ya know, there was a guy with a channel dedicated to making all kinds of different logos and stuff for SvR '10 and '11, and even found a pretty cool "demo" of how to draw up the Nexus logo on 256×256:
