Probably considering ownership has been trying to find out who's been leaking stuff to the media during the whole season. They also wanted to get Lavarnway some games for experience behind the plate and Shoppach's deal ends after this season.

My Rays sweep the series against the Angels, 4 game sweep. We are finally having good hitting to go along with our great pitching.

We are 4.5 games out of 1st place in the AL East, and we are in 1st place in the Wild Card.

The angels are fading hard and barely .500 now and already 4.5 back of the orioles. Red sox are 7.5 back..stick a fork in em they're done.
O's are 11-4 last 15, getting hot at the right time..

I've got a feeling the orioles 3 game series in tb to end the seasons gonna be extended to 4 but I hope the extra game s up here at Camden yards so I can go..

I wonder if he's doing it just for fun or if he's thinking about going back to the MLB to try and "clear up" his legacy.

According to Crasnick over at espn.com, his fastball topped at 87 mph and this might be only a 1-game thing just for fun. But if it goes well, it could be more.

As far as getting back to the MLB, he's 50 years old. Old Man Moyer is 49 and I think has been to 3-4 different teams this season and we haven't heard a peep from him in about a month now. Maybe's he's decided to give it up.

The orioles have a better record sine the asb than the yankees (21-15 vs 20-16). While the orioles are 5-6 vs the yanks so far, they've out scored them 52-51.

Should have been done a lot earlier or at least let go after last year since he was partially responsible for allowing the pitchers for being too lazy or have the careless attitude.

The assistant coach is the one Valentine brought with him along with the 3B coach. He's been with Valentine since the Mets days while McClure both resented Bobby V and his assistant.
