I'd say save up. They say you should have a garage for your car, but I always spawn in with my car nearby whenever I play online. I have had it impounded a few times, tho.

You can pick up hookers online. Pity we can't do this in a group.

I wanted to see what happened when a female character picks up a hooker. Trying each of the options in the hooker menu, It seems my character is a pre-op transgender. Two of the animations are the standard sex animations and the other is oral sex for someone with a penis.

I finally saved up enough to buy the most expensive apartment which I should have rightfully bought a few days ago before all of my money was gone.

Finally figured out how to get my 4 FREE exclusive vehicles in online. Now I need a garage big enough.

Curiously, I seem to be able to buy multiple of each for free. I'm wondering if I could, in theory, get an exclusive car, give it to a crew member to keep and get myself another one.

Also, people seem to instinctively ram and attack any vehicle I have that they can't have. Or maybe it's a "OMG there is a girl character. Get her!" thing.

Huh? Nah, it saves automatically. I just straight shut my PS3 off when I'm done and I've never had any progress loss.

Granted, I've been super careful not to sign in when I read about character issues some days. The last one 4 or 5 days ago, I made sure not to sign in that day and sure enough, my character was fine while like 3 people I know lost theirs.

I've turned it off/dash boarded and I lost my money from recent jobs or any upgrades I spent money on.

I go to single player now and haven't had that problem since.

The game is supposed to autosave but doesn't always. Going to single-player prompts a save, and therefore is advised.

It does save at random times, I just see the Cloud Save icon with no rhyme or reason. I don't trust it to save after a job, which never happens. It's random.

I'll go with saving by going to Single Player. Not taking chances especially after long grind sessions.

He isn't. Characters will not be lost (or less likely to be lost) but deleted characters may not come back. They are working on some form of compensation, though.

Yeah, I mentioned it earlier. Eventually, they stop accepting them so often and offer you less.

I think the police are more sophisticated than we assumed. On one occasion, I was hiding in my car, under a bridge and they were swarming the bridge above and just wouldn't leave. As soon as I turned off my radio, they moved on.

Another time, I was hiding in an alleyway that had an indent in it. I was parked out of site and I assume they saw the car headlights because they passed by the alleyway, couldn't see me but must have seen the headlights because they decided to come down to investigate. I've hidden in a similar spot before on foot and they always past by, unless they clearly saw me go down a certain street or alley.

Yeah, the AI is smarter this time around. Its more realistic in that thdy just don't automatically know where you are like in GTA IV.
