All of the CoDs had infinite respawns until you advance to a certain point. It was fucking ridiculous in some parts, especially with the grenades coming from every direction. MW2 fixed that, and had a pre set amount of baddies. It made campaign basically a cake walk through most parts.

That could be why they removed the set amount, because everyone and their mom had the veteran achievements.

I thought you were referring to player respawns and I was like ...seriously? You are bitching about being able to continue after a random cheap nade hits you.

I know in MW2, the autoload had me next to an exploding red barrel, like 200+ times I respawned before I was lucky enough to get away before it blew up.

the friendly ai is so fucking lame in this game. The don't advance at all, take your cover spots and push you out into fire, and on so many occasions I've seen them just let a bad guy sit behind them and shoot at them. I have patience, but the respawn/ai combo is frustrating a shit

Yeah, I mean there nothing that directly increases/decreases normal bullet damage, so you dont have to use SP to be on an even playing field.

Yeah, im glad they removed both of those. I think they did a good job adding/removing perks to break that game...but of course, never under estimate the dickholes, cheap fucks, and kids of the internet. They will find something.

New promotion involving the game includes "Pro Gaming" glasses and 1 GB USB drive all for the price of $80. The glasses are designed to mimic glasses in the 1970s.

This might end up as the most stuff sponsored by a Call of Duty game seeing as there is the usual multiple collector's editions, the $33,000 edition that comes with an actual Jeep, special controllers, special headset, and now the glasses.

There was a game I used to play that rewarded people who found bugs and reported them by giving them a special item only attainable that way.

I wonder if it would be a good idea to reward people who find bugs/glitches in online games the same way with special avatar stuff/ms points/game time/invitations to stuff, etc.

If its anything like the time Valve and Bungie gave away special items, the rest of the community will just start moaning and complaining or find a way to hack the items.

The whole purpose of a beta is to find and report glitches but the biggest problem this generation of consoles is everyone believes beta means early access to the game or only fix server issues and not the game itself.

It's fucking awesome. MW2 can fuck right off. Tried wager matches Gun Game and One in the Chamber and they were fucking fun too. Combat Training is cool, it gives the bots names from your friends list. Only thing that sucks, you can't play combat training while offline.

Best Call of Duty to date.
