I think its more of like a Street Fighter where everyone expects the regular cast to be in it so no real need to worry about the roster being revealed if its mostly old time characters in the series.

Now if they started to reveal all the new specific character stories or designs then it could be an issue.

At the end of MK: Armageddon, Shang Tsung was about to kill Raiden and rule all the realms.
Raiden used the last of his energy/powers to send visions etc of what was going to happen back to his MK1 self so he could do things differently to prevent Shang Tsung ultimately winning.

A lot of people are suggesting for Rare to lend a character from Killer Instinct but its more of them wanting any sign of Killer Instinct 3 being made than having it as an exclusive character in Mortal Kombat.

Pre-order bonuses for the game appear to be just unlockable fatalities from the original Mortal Kombat game.

wtf would reptile's retro fatality be. sub zero and scorpion have the obvious ones, but reptile had more than 1 to choose from in his playable debut.

Looks like the game itself is going to have 2 different collector's editions at $149.99 and $99.99

Same. There's so many fighting games out there that it's going to be hard to compete to be honest though.

I'll be amazed if they finally pull a good game from their arse, but happy for them.

Yeah, don't know what they were thinking with the layout for the arcade stick since it means it can't be used in other non-MK fighting games like most sticks that have come out the last few years.

I think the only MK game I ever played in the arcades was MK 2 but I now see how similar the layouts are.

The color choice for the arcade buttons threw me off since it was just one color and not multi-color.
