Cena looks like he is having a lot of fun out there.

This is the real Cena, and that guy who does all the PG and poop jokes is a total fabrication. That's why I never believed Cena when he said he was in control of his character.

After tonight, I believe without a doubt that they are making The Rock hold back. The Rock has yet to say the one thing everybody knows and the reason why everybody is sick of John Cena being pushed down our throats: he isn't as big of a star or as good as The Rock was when The Rock was "the top guy". It isn't like it will bury Cena because he is going to win at WrestleMania.

Couldn't care less about whether they are telling The Rock to hold back or not, all I know is that I'm really enjoying Cena right now and they're doing a good job at getting me excited for the match. Job well done as far as I'm concerned.

For The Rock fans it's for them to have a savior to put an end to Cena's goofyness and shenanigans. For Cena fans is for their saint to rise above everything and be an even bigger role model for him to challenge one of the biggest stars in wrestling. But really, the underlying note is for Cena to bring his A-game. He isn't the face of the company that a lot of people wish he was and if this all is done right then maybe he will be.

Cena said it himself, he needs The Rock. And he's referred to something last night and he's referred to it before in past promos. You can tell hee wanted this match so bad and for so long. It's to propel him higher than he is now. Cena's real feelings aren't about not liking Dwayne Johnson as a person or whatever, his real feelings have always been to get a match with The Rock and be a bigger superstar. He beat Triple H, he beat HBK, he will lose to Taker if he takes him on at Wrestlemania so who can Cena beat or try to beat who is of great significance in wrestling? Flair is old and supposed to be retired, Hogan has nothing left, Stone Cold is retired and is not and can't be in the athletic shape Rock is.

The Rock is doing what he's supposed to do and is saying what he's supposed to. Cena can't hide his excitement and you can see it bleed through in some of his promos that's why you have him dissing the rock and trying his best while other times he's flattering the rock and talking about how much he needs him and how big a superstar he is. No matter who wins, it's the fans who ultimately win. Rock and Cena want this to be the best match in WM29 and if possible, in all of WM history.

Agree with Destor, I really feel if there is one feud in WWE history where you can tell 2 stars to wing and be themselves this is it...

Rock knows when its time to do the job and as much as people hate super Cena hes a company guy and if they told him to do the job to the friggen ring boy I am pretty certain he would.

The promos have been benefiting Cena a lot more than the Rock because of the way they've been set up so far letting Cena let lose and be more in an attack role while the Rock is more in a laid back and goofy role.

Cena tried to be goofy at the start but it didn't work out so the switch has helped him a lot especially with the drop from his normal bland monologue style promo.

The Rock himself showed he can easily drop the goofyness since his last promo ditched the goofyness and went straight into him explaining how he wants to physically rip Cena apart.

The end result is the crowd has been entertained and the feud has been getting a lot better in developing itself to be the must-see match for Mania.
