Van Ryn is a solid defenceman. Hopefully he can stay healthy. This saves the Leafs 11+ million dollars in cap space over the next few years.

and Mayo, it's a friggen 4th round pick.

I like Van Ryn, but the fact that he is injury prone and wasn't given a physical before the trade really bothers me.

Went to the Av's Burgundy/White scrimmage game tonight. Pretty cool for a not-to serious game. Can't wait until Jan. when the Pens are in Denver
