John Lynch is visiting New England today.

Lynch has said before if the Pats didn't sign Harrison he already would have been here, and Belicheck was convincing him they could use both of them but Lynch wanted a promise he'd start all the time...

James Sanders was last year but he is injured right now, Brandon Merriweather (from The U) has been playing with the first team in his absence. I really don't see how Lynch and Harrison can play together but maybe they could think up some crazy shit or something

No they are just both the same exact player, physical hitting safeties that are great against the run but have very limited coverage abilities

word is he left Denver because they said he wouldn't be a starter, I'd also be surprised to see a lynch/harrison backfield, but maybe Belicheck can convince Lynch that they rotate players so much he'll still see plenty of time? Plus if he wants a shot at one more ring, NE or Indy would be the top 2 places to go. (sorry NYG, no offense intended).

Favre didn't really throw that much. It was a lot of Clemens and Ainge and Ratliff. He did throw a few though including a couple deep passes and his arm seemed pretty good 2 me.

Also Rachel Nichols was there and some hispanic kid shouted at her saying he would be "watching her all season" and she looked up and then kept walking by.

yeah but, this isn't december when he's done it 10K times, this is day 5 of practice...

He's not worried, so could be nothing big...

but when you have a 38yr old QB, who originally was retired, didn't participate in any team off-season conditioning programs and is already feeling Arm Fatigue...

it could be nothing, but it's not exactly a good sign either.

I hope Farve drops dead in the middle of a game. I hate him.

The way he has held Green Bay hostage the last few years (Will he or wont he?) They finally were ready to move on (investing a major pick in his replacement that they could have used elsewhere had he not jerked them around) and now he came back and ruined the Team's image in their City so that he can play again, and worked his way out of town. How can anyone root for a prick like that?

Big Fat Hollis Thomas tore his tricep at practice yesterday and will be out for 2 months.. I guess all that depth on the line will def now be tested.. So glad we got Sed Ellis now..

I guess hes taking over Tank Williams spot of hybrid linebacker/safety. Really can't see him and Harrison on the field at the same time though...way too slow

that was my assumption when they brought him in to talk right after Tank went down.

Makes sense in that roll, and his age/speed shouldn't be an issue there, I don't see him being asked to man-up on top WR's in the league.

Yeah, younger the better...though I'm not really big on rookie jerseys.

I think I got my Shockey jersey after his great rookie year. It served me well for 3 or so years but by then the numbers were starting to fade a bit, and I wound up making the mistake of getting an older player jersey. I got a Tiki Barber jersey and seriously he announced his retirement a week later.

I figured "well, it's ok...I can still wear it as he'll always be remembered"...then once he became a total prick I pretty much retired the jersey and stuck with the worn out Shockey on game days for another year.

Now that he's gone, I've got a brand new Tuck jersey and I got my dad an Umenyiora for his birthday. Defensive ends 4tw

I was tempted to get an away jersey after last year's success on the road but the fact that there's no blue in them still bothers me a bit.
