Nah, you should expect that sort of thing in free mode.

Fun fact: you can apparently get a wanted rating if Simeon wants your personal vehicle, even though it'll explicitly tell you he doesn't want personal vehicles.

I have no problem with people trying to steal the car from me. That's part of the fun. What's not fun is everyone just rushing to the delivery spot to take me out. It makes the event the same every time.

If the garage was randomly placed, people would have to come to you to steal the car, and it would add a lot of variety to the mission.

Survival takes anywhere from 25-35 minutes with at least 2 buddies we discovered. Faster with 4 of course, but it's good for 20k a person, which isn't bad IMO.

There's a mission called Criminal Records which is a race that lasts roughly 32 seconds. So 1 minute, to 1.5 minutes start to finish with loading and everything. Gives you about 1900 cash and from 350 to 500 RP.

10 Waves, each wave gets harder. Helicopters come in at a few points. Depending on the map, they can be easy or fucking hard. There are places on some maps that are just designed to be held off, and there are some maps that are built so awkwardly that you're always frantically trying to stay alive.


One good thing is that any guns you pick up during the match, you get to keep. Until you die or run out of ammo, or reload the game. I'm not entirely sure. I've kept some of the guns for a while, and sometimes they've just disappeared from my inventory so I'm not sure on exactly when they go away.


Survival is pretty easy once miniguns come into play. Helicopters are a breeze at that point, and vehicles get shredded and blown up in no time. Sticky bombs also spawn in these gametypes and they can be key in holding off areas. Love waiting till a bunch of vehicles are piled in an area, tossing a single sticky bomb, and taking out a huge group of people.


I think you get more for doing missions with crew members, so maybe that's why I got 20k from mine? I don't remember exactly how that works.

He didn't say he pulled a grind session at all. Everyone else did. He said "I started last night and have 502k. Niiiiiiceeeee." That's literally all he said. Meaning he JUST decided to start playing and they're giving a bunch of money to everyone so he didn't have to do shit and he already essentially has half a mil. Then the lot of you hooked onto it instantly and started attaching all these scenarios to it. He doesn't have $502,000.

How much money did you all have after the first night? I had less than 10k, because it was hard as fuck to keep the money I earned. RoXer said it was almost a week and he was still hovering around 20k and couldn't seem to break the barrier at first.

The proof is in FAngel's bank account, which probably reads $2000 or thereabouts. What is so unbelievable about that? That this is even a discussion is ridiculous.. the desire to hang FAngel for no reason is pathetic.

I made like 60-70k my first night by just doing random races.

Not understanding how people have trouble keeping money, tbh. Use your cell phone and bank it as soon as you get it.

I found if you host one of the races, two lots or something like that, and make it one lap you can earn up to 8k in a minute, if you win of course.

Fuck this. I'm having shit problems: I tried the fake live options to this game it just stops at splash screen. I ALREADY had the disc 1 in the drive too. And, I tried disabling fake live option in Dash Launch and it asks for an online profile. Rockstar trolling... Fuuuck.

They really should randomize the location of Simeon's garage. You get people camping over there to steal the deliveries.

Just had an incident where I was on my way there with the premium vehicle, and I noticed another player on the map just standing near the garage. He kept facing my direction even though I was still a bit of a distance from the garage, so I figured he had a sniper rifle.

Got out and ran away, and sure enough he makes a bee line for it as soon as I'm a good distance away. As soon as he gets in, I detonate the sticky bomb I threw on before ditching it.

Ooooooooooo he was so mad. Serves him right. Fucking camper.

I was just going to suggest the bomb thing.

I just thought of something that further proves the $400,000 apartment wont always be the limit and that houses and mansions will someday be buyable. R* said we will be able to buy dogs online but we can't. The only dog in the whole game is Chop, who lives in Franklins backyard.
So we'll need houses with yards before we get dogs.

Also, what happened to the whole "hire a hitman" thing? Would be cool if you could actually hire another player to do it instead of AI but either would be good.

In the main game, if you provoke a group of Vagos or Ballas gangsters too much, they will occasionally sic a dog on you. And sometimes it only takes 1 or 2 good bites for the fuckers to kill you, too. I've experienced it by doing that with Trevor.

Actually, pimping could have worked online. Befriend a hooker or stripper enough that they give you their number, call them later to arrange a hooker/pimp set up and have them walk the streets for you.
They could generate a couple hundred dollars for you a day, unless a player hires your hooker and you get a bit extra.
From time to time, they call you asking for help or, if a player attacks them, you get notified and can hunt them down. Maybe you can choose to arm your hookers with a knife and/or pistol, for a price?

I think they will try to do everything they said. Of all the developers, R* and Nintendo are the two who let me down the least. I'm not saying they're infallible but I doubt they'd not do what they'd say.

I'm sure we'll need a yard for the dog. Otherwise it'd be indoors and I don't think that'd work.

I did the Violent Duct mission solo and only got $3000. You'd think you'd get more for going solo.

Also, I parked my car behind a brick wall a while away from the enemies. Not only did they shoot straight through the brick wall and hit my car, they hit the wheel furthest away. Physically impossible shot. Guessing there's some kind of randomness to what hits and where?

Yeah, Violent Duct is fixed to $3000 now instead of $9000.

Tennis is terrible. It's ok in single player but it's bad online. Or at least the connection was bad between where I am and where Drakul is. Maybe it's better with better connections but I doubt it.

Was it the problem where the ball randomly fucking curves across the whole court? Had that happen. Mostly to the person I was playing with, but I thought they were full of shit until it happened to me. They hit it, it looks normal, and then curves suddenly to the side.
