Your heroes (Gallas and Carvalho) will be there to save him though.

And watch the goal again, Ferdinand was shockingly positioned, Drogba would have had to nutmeg Neville for Rio to do anything, it really looked like he was hiding behind Neville.

2 wins in a row. Just a shame we're playing Wigan away next and will get our arses handed to us.

3-1 to United is my guess, Ronaldo, Scholes and Rooney to score the goals.

Yes, Dazz, that's why Rio was there. He was covering the space behind Neville, at the front post. In that case, the other defenders should pull in one position across to fill the gaps, but Silvestre stayed where he was, basically right in front of Heinze, asleep.

I don't know if you have a huge understanding of how defending works or how there is much more to it than getting your head to high balls and blocking shots. Those are the basics.

Constant cheap fouls and baiting our players (LuaLua was apparently stupid enough to react).

LuaLua was having a field day constantly skinning Johansson but everytime he got past him he got wrestled to the ground, again cynically. After about the 6th time D'Urso took action.

its an absolute travisty that cheap tactics like that "earned" them points.
It's okay mate, Mourinho has now brought all this to the attention of everyone, as has Worthington. They are pretty much seen as cheats and cunts now, happy?

I have a cracking understanding, I won managers player os the season when we came third in the top division and won the cup I was playing centre back that season, admittedly it's different for proffesionals to for me, but I know have you have to fucking do, and all I meant by getting his head to the ball and blocking shots are is thats what people remember about the game, and thats why he gets more praise then Gallas and Carvalho.

And if I could get this fecking clip of Lampards goal to work, I could prove you wrong. You seem like a person who'd have broadband, it's on here if you want to reconsider your previous comments http://www.carefreechris.footballcli...s/lcgoals.html Also, it has compilations of greats like Zola on it, that might be to your liking too.

I remember Lampard's goal. Silvestre was at fault. I felt it at the time, the commentators also mentioned it, and overall Silvestre had a poor game that night. Drogba out-paced and out-muscled him when the ball was played up to him.

A chief, I would say. That he is. Excellent player. Bit unlucky with the injuries this season.

I thought the same of Crespo last year. Everyone said he was shit, but any time I watched him he was a class above. Too many people listen to the media and trot out the same old shit.

Twelve goals last season and makes great runs, Crespo indeed was another chief, I really hope we don't sell him in the summer, but Jose doesn't like him or his attitude, Adriano is coming apparently.

Drogba is fucking great, by far our best striker, make good runs, is powerful and is an ideal target man. He should be back for the trip to Newcastle on Sunday, which is just as well because I really didn't wanna travel five fecking hours and spend £70 to see Eidur Gudjohnsen put on a half arsed display.

Yeah, Adriano is a complete forward and only about 23 or something, superb player. I quite like Inter so on one hand i'd want them to keep him but then again it would be great to see him in England.

0-0 at half time in the Manc derby.

I've missed a large chunk of Newcastle v. Man United, Man United v. Liverpool, Newcastle v. Middlesbrough and now Man Untied v. Man City this season thanks to the wind. If this carries on I'm going to go mental and start walking around Cumbria in just a t-shirt. It's much scarier than full nakedness, I'm telling you.

Poor Dickie Dunne. He was playing great until the own goals.

Just wonder what was up with the second. If James saw Dunne coming across to deal with it, he should have stayed put on his goal line. It's things like that which make me question James and his concentration, even if he is a great shot-stopper.

Bit of a mess, really. James shouldn't be going for that when Dunne is covering it. Happened a couple of times, like the time when James came racing out to the edge of the box when Dunne was dealing comfortably with a long ball, and made it look more dangerous than it really was.

One week you see him putting in a performance that sees him staking a claim for an England place again, then the next week he's getting on like a prick again. Sums up his career.

Yeah my thoughts too, James should have either come out screaming for the ball or stayed on his line. First goal was really only the left backs fault for not even fucking being there.

Didn't Dunne score another OG a few weeks ago, where a long ball was humped up the pitch, straight to him, and he kind of messed it up trying to take it down. But James was out at the edge of the box, and when Dunne miscontrolled it and turned, it skipped off into the net.

Against West Brom, I think. It's fucking ridiculous when keepers make things more difficult than they need to be.

Richard Dunne's calamitous late own goal gifted 10-man West Brom a totally unexpected point at Eastlands as Manchester City's capacity for shooting themselves in the foot reached new levels.

It was only a few weeks ago, you piece of shit. Round this time of year teams start playing each other quite close together.

But unbelievably, the visiting fans' jeers turned to cheers six minutes from time as, under virtually no pressure, Dunne allowed Paul Robinson's speculative long ball to bounce up and strike him on the shin.

The Irishman could only watch in stunned disbelief as the ball then rocketed low past stranded keeper David James, who had advanced to the edge of the area to deal with the non-existent danger, and roll into the net.

What the fuck, I really have no recollection of the goal.

ahaha Dickie Dunne. You fat oaf.

Sky's still bollocksed. Thinking of getting the ladder out and slapping it about a bit, see if it helps. Or when I get in tonight I might just start throwing rocks at it.

James never seems to coordinate with his defence. You could pelt shots at him all day and he'd be fantastic he just seems to really lack awareness.

Hey Ogen, do you remember that one time that James spilled a cross and Di MAtteo whacked it into the net, Chelsea went on to win 1-0. Good times, the day was capped off by Dennis Wise and his son Henry walking up the stairs to lift the F.A Cup, Good old James.

yes, very much so. Im just disapointed it took Jose Mourinho to make everyone take notice, had everyone just listened to me a month ago, you'd all know how filthy those Lancashire cunts are.

oh and ECG, Mask just texted me and told me to laugh at you for him for telling him Dunne was good. So hahaha.

I like Dunney though, Yak gave him a torid time last season, yet he kept getting back and getting tackles in. City fans on the train back from the match were suprised at how good he was.

Poor old Dunney, we salute you

That own goal against West Brom was class though. He spanked it past him and Robert Earnshaw was so desperate to get the final touch he sprinted after it and slid in, but still missed it.

Then in the return match Dunne scored this class freekick but the dickhead ref disallowed it.

The Mask mustn't have been watching the game. Dunne was the best player on the park for 3 quarters of it. Rooney got booked for hacking him down in the first half after Dunne yet again muscled him off the ball.

I love the guy. He'll lead Ireland to a World Cup semi final, and then he'll play against Ronaldo in a battle of the extremely fat footballing geniuses.

Also, Andy Reid is now the Fat Controller. I christened him that today while talking about the Ireland friendly with the lads while watching the game.
