Well, Pompey are 2-1 up which means both Birmingham and West Brom would be down today. Well, West Brom would be down anyway if Pompey got another point this season.

Birmingham just look flat at the minute. DJ Campbell just came on. They just seriously need to do absolutely anything.

Emile Heskey just fell over.

Well, he should have been called offside and the ball was about a yard ahead of him so it was very difficult to control, but the point is he fell over.

See ya later Birmingham and West Brom. I hate you Birmingham players I hope you're happy you fucking retards.

Shut the fuck up Garth Crooks saying that the FA screwed up the English managers. Does he have a fucking clue? The reason why they weren't chosen is because THEY WEREN'T THE BEST. It's pretty fucking simple. I hope they just wait till the WC is over and then appoint someone half decent.

If Rooney is injured badly England are fucked. Wouldn't be surprised if he misses WC completely.

And congrats to Chelsea. Deserved again.

Reading - decent team, they have some money, doubtful they will do anything but struggle though

Sheff Utd - not a great team, most despised manager in all of English football. Will probably annoy everyone on the way to being relegated anyway

And one of Watford, Preston North End, Crystal Palace or Leeds United

For the past month Steve Bruce and David Gold have fucking been getting on my tits, SO BAD.

Every single little thing and they'd be crying their little eyes out "ooh, how lucky are Pompey, playing weakened teams, we never get any luck". Well you can fucking shove it up your arse you big nosed, whingey, ugly cunt, you never played for England and even Michael Ricketts managed that and I am willing to bet your wife is only with you for the money. Lee Hendrie also shagged your daughter which i find hilarious. David Gold can fuck off and choke on one of his big black dildos too.

Now I wasn't happy about Redknapp coming back and I said I wouldn't forgive him until we were safe. So I am not happy about what happened last year but I can give credit where its due and I will gladly sing his name again now.

I'm not going in for this Harry Houdini stuff though, it was a team effort and as much credit is owed to Gary O'Neil, Matthew Taylor, Pedro Mendes, Sean Davis, Benjani, Wayne Routledge, Dejan Stefanovic, Andy O'Brien, Azar Karadas, Andres D'Alessandro, Dean Kiely, Brian Priske, Toddy, Lua Lua, Joe Jordan, Milan Mandaric and Alexandre Gaydamak.

Well done boys.

Half my family live in Gretna, Annan and Dumfries, thats why I want to see them in Europe.

Fantastic day, Torquay look SAFE, they should be safe on Goal Difference, loads of teams are all on 51 points, its just really close down there, but I think Oxford will go down. Torquay have Boston at home next weekend, they've got nothing to play for, and Torquay pretty much need a point, everyone else has quite difficult teams to beat, so here's hoping.

Stellar effort by Pompey, absolute quality each and every one of them, and the reason why I love Pompey, and so many people around the country love Pompey, is the fans. They deserve to stay up, and they've relegated a couple of teams who do deserve it. With the side Birmingham have, going down (regardless of all the bullshit injuries and all that) is a disgrace, and I will be shocked if Bruce is still there at the end of this year, if not the end of this summer.

Curbs resigning, I guess the rumours about it were right.....is he off to Newcastle? Hope he gets a big job soon, cos he deserves it.

Hate to say it, but congratulations to Chelsea, they do deserve to be Champions, and it is always nice to see United getting pissed on, and with Chelsea beating them to win the title, that's quite a nice thing to happen.

Been a pretty good day all in all.

Team effort yes but you have to admit you were down before he came along. And the fact he brought in players who can actually speak the English language helped. Even though you spoke a lot about players being out of position early, he had to get the team to find it's feet again even if it meant players out of position to accomadate others.

And if you hate David Gold, read Simon Jordan in the Observer on Sunday. I don't even like Jordan but he is funny as fuck and hates Gold and Sullivan with a passion.

I'm not denying he did a good job, I'm just saying i'm not giving him any more credit than anyone else. They all deserve all the credit in the world.

If Gaydamak hadn't funded the players, if Redknapp hadn't come back and signed them, if Benjani hadn't scored today, if Mendes hadn't scored in the 93rd minute against Man City, if Matty Taylor had missed his penalty against Sunderland. If any one of those things had not happened then we probably wouldn't have survived.

Yes Redknapp deserves credit for getting us playing but only as much as Sacha and Milan for putting money in and the players for actually performing and pulling together.

Oh it's a joint credit but he still deserves massive credit none the less. The manager takes the heat when the team does shit (and you give him enough stick) so he should take more glory when they win.

I am happy to admit I was wrong and I am giving him all the credit in the world now. You're right, I gave him tons of shit when he was fucking about with the team earlier in the season but he's got it right in the end and i am MORE than happy to be eating my words

Every person at the club, including the majority of fans you have stuck by the club deserve all the credit in the world.

That is probably one of the greatest escapes from relegation i've seen.

Never knew Jack followed Birmingham though. Born in London and following them? What's wrong with this country?

My apprentice is from Halesowen and is a massive Birmingham fan. Guess I won't be seeing him for another week.

Every person at the club, including the majority of fans you have stuck by the club deserve all the credit in the world.

That is probably one of the greatest escapes from relegation i've seen.
You know I have a soft spot for you scummers anyway.

West Brom last season and that year Bradford stayed up were better though in my opinion.

My old man just reminded me that I tipped Portsmouth to stay up the minute Redknapp came back and I tipped Boro to win the UEFA cup in the group stages.

Also lost £20 to my brother for Milan, Lyon or Man U winning the Champions League

As for Wolves

Funnily enough we've had the best season of any team in this area.
