usually he sells them for more than face value but if you wanna keep tickets for a game then you have to sell the rest individually i believe. he will probably let us sell them like we did for this season and we gave them to the giants organization or something and they sold them. remember that time you saw me at giants stadium

It's alright. Most people thought the Bengals were still a year away from the playoffs and they still won the division. Next year, the entire offense is back again and there's a lot of cap room to work with.

Go Seahawks!

Do you think if Palmer did'nt get injured things would have been different?

With all due respect to the Steelers, I could've seen the game going a different way if Palmer was in. I'm a Steeler fan, don't get me wrong. But I bet if Palmer got going well, he could've been a force to be reckoned with in that game.

The defense was still terrible so I don't think Palmer would've won the game. They haven't been able to tackle ever and added to the fact that the best tackler on the team Madieu Williams has been out all year didn't help.

I still think the Steelers would've won no matter what.

Yeah lol it looked from what I was watching the Bengals were handling the Steelers with Palmer in there. I only saw like one series with Kitna, and he didn't do bad from what I saw, but still.

I hate missed tackles and poor tackling. The way the Giants defense played today my little sister probably could have run the ball over them.

The Giants just had a crappy day, I think (or I'd like to think so). They're a far, far better team than their game showed today.

All in all, this weekend has been a great one. Can't wait to see the other games.

As long as Seattle beats Washington, I'll be so happy. So, so happy.

He said it as a joke about the Jaguars because all of Jacksonville's fans have said all year that the Jags get no respect because they are a small market team. He didn't actually mean it, he was more-or-less taking Harrison's role as the mouthpiece for the team.

Well, we now know it's the MCL also.

That being said, if it was just the ACL, I know they have some gread advancements and these are pro athletes, but you'd expect the guy to be ready to go in 6 months?

Unless it was like a small partial tare I just can't see that happening.

When they first reported it, they said it was just one ligament. I didn't think he'd be ready for training camp either, but for sure the season. Now with the torn MCL too, who knows.

You're right on the last part, taking Harrisons part, but wrong before that. It had nothing to do with the Jags fans or a joke or something he doesn't beleive. He does and this team does, it's how they motivate them selves. It was true on 2001, true in 2003 and maybe even a few times in 2004.

Hey, whatever works for them!

As I said, either the Broncos or Colts was fine with me, if you're going to win you have to beat good teams and both teams are good. If you went to Indy first them you could end up in Denver the next week and vice versa. The only good thing about this way is if Pittsburg can pull off a win and the Pats pull off a win then the AFC championship game is in New England.

The thing I find strange about Brady's statements is, he and the team can't really believe it can they? Not when every notable national media member is sent there to kiss their asses over and over. Not when every single "expert" is saying they are the team to beat.

I don't know where you get every media member is sent here to kiss their ass. When you win, you get coverage plain and simple as Ric Flair coined "to be the man, you have to beat the man" and this team has won their last 10 post season games, so until someone beats them, they're going to get the hype.

I guess it depends on your market, because all we hear about are the Colts and how they can't be stopped etc... Which the Colts earned that right this year with the win streak.

and Brady's refrence is early in the season with all the injuries everyone wrote them off, even Schottenhimer made comments about "you can only dodge injuries for so long" or something like that and Brady got pissed about it.

Last year, I'd agree, going into the Superbowl, it was funny... Everyone was picking them and yet you'd hear them say "no one thinks we can win this", this year, people started to beleive a bit the last few weeks, but they're still not "the pick".

If anyone should really play the disrespect card it's the NFC, once again the AFC championship is being called the Super Bowl, like whoever wins will cakewalk through the NFC team in the Super Bowl (which may be true)..

Far as I understand it basically Belichick looks for whatever angle he can to motivate them. If they're underdogs, say they'll prove everyone wrong (and to a certain extent they are underdogs from this point). If people are talking more about the Colts, say they get no respect. If they're favourites, say everyone wants them to lose. Simple psychology really.

Well at the start of the season, everyone was saying how the Patriots have no chance of winning another one, and how much better the Colts are etc etc I think they can use that help them. Like Supreme said, I am sure they are already motivated, but something that isn't going to hurt is it?

I dunno, every time I've watched ESPN guys always say they are the team to beat.

If it was somehow Colts - Seahawks, I would be torn.

Peyton vs. Shaun.
Tennessee vs. Alabama.

Think I'd have to be a homer and pull for the Hawkssss.

A team that has won 3 of the last 4 being written off is absurd. The thing is, when the Lakers were christened at the onset of the season, even when Shaq was gimpy, he'd still be 100% in the playoffs and the Lakers would win. So people just gave up, and admitted the Lakers are unstoppable. When that happened, the Lakers got lazy and started losing.

We just need to sit back and watch Belicheck work his magic. He's going to win it all again, because he's not going to exactly go out and run the entire table just because he can. He gameplanned his dynasty, and we're witnessing another page. These players are professionals, and they know the playoffs like the Lions know top-10 picks. Manning won't get it done this year.

I want the Redskins to lose so bad this week. I don't think anyone has any idea.

Oh right I get it -- yeah what the Bengals didn't need was excuses, cause they have plenty of those.

Go whine to the Patriots about injuries, thanks.

I'm pretty sure Carson Palmer going down overshadows any of the Patriot injuries.

Teddy "He does it all" Bruschi was pretty bad, but I still say Carson means more to his team.

Kitna will start somewhere next season, and he will do well. He did well before Carson was handed the starting spot. And the commentators made a special point to point out how Kitna gets a large number of snaps each week in practice just in case.

Fact is, Carson went down, the entire team was running scared. They had the lead ffs, get some motivation to run out the clock or something. Come on.

Looking to the Pats next game. Last time they played Denver they really got smacked, the game wasn't as close as the score. Pats showed something though, to be able to make the score that close in the end. They were playing without Seymour, Bruschi, Dillion, Brown, Faulk and a few others. So this game should be a lot different then the first meeting between these 2 teams. Playing in Denver will be tough though, they are undefeated there this season (I believe?) but unless #7 is playing QB for the Broncos, I don't see them beating the Patriots. Especially if Beisel and Chad Brown play out of their minds like they did last week I really don't see the Pats losing, but hopefully Bruschi will be back anyways.

Oh that's right, the Pats won without Bruschi last week didn't they? That's a lot of "hits" they missed out on, lah.

Beisel played his best game of season though, and even Chad Brown played good. First time I've seen Brown play good in a Pats uniform.

They probably finally realized that they're Patriots, and not Chiefs/Seahawks.

Honestly. Call me a homer i dont care. I'll say it. I think the Colts are gunna crush Pittsburgh by two touchdowns. Then Crush whoever wins in the Broncos/ Patriots game. In the past i was overly confident because i hoped we were good enough to win. This year i can honestly say we are the best team. Everyone says Manning wont get it done and dawgs Manning out. This guy is in the " Prime " of his career gentleman. He's heard this shit for 3 years now and sat back pretty idley this whole time. Never once complaining about how horrid his defense has been. Never once questioning any part of the system . This guy kept his mouth shut and let the critics critize. Now the best QB has a Top Five ranked defense, two All-Pro defensive players, three probowlers and something to prove? Lights out thank you. Manning will get it done and the Colts are gunna spank that ass. Call me a homer, call me whatever. Just make sure you come correct when it happens. Manning will get it done.

Lights Out?

He's going to do a run-in 80s WWF style, wearing a Patriots Jersey, and completely obliterate Manning with a blindsided hit. There will be a 15 yard penalty, but it should be more, because Manning will be dead. And they would try to eject Merriman, but before they could... ninja smoke, and he disappears.

It will happen. I've already emailed his agent. They both love the idea.
