WHOOOOOO

GUPPY FOR ENGLAND

Only watched the Aberdeen trick from McGeady, which was pretty smart. Gupps did a stepover which left him to the side of the ball and then nutmegged the defender, who was playing for Derby aswell, great stuff.

Also, watching Ronaldo and Rooney link up brings me close to tears of joy lately. Watching that bit with Heinze, Ronaldo and Rooney taking the piss out of city down the left was a joy to behold.

Fair play to Chelsea if they win the league, cause I think the promise being shown by our team, along with the veterans pulling their fingers out and putting in games like it was 99 again is brilliant. My only real gripe is that Silvestre is a bit of a dopey cunt at times, which is a shame cause he can be great on his day. Carroll is doing his job fine too, and I suppose it's nice to see a steady keeper, as Barthez had me a gibbering wreck at times, and I never felt confident with him in net. Carroll seems to generally keep the ball out of the net, and as long as he does that, I'm happy.

I'm looking forward to AC, knowing what we can pull out against Arsenal, and the likes.

Carroll does no such thing, you are doing and ECG now and bigging up the Irish just for their nationality. That was fucking shit keeping when he got nugmegged for Arsenals second goal the other week, and yeah he makes good saves like from Shauny Wright Wright Wright yesterday but overall he is still unreliable, you still need to sign Given in the summer.

I know he's Senegalese. I just wanted to emphasise how much I hate him, by associating him with the least worthy of our African brothers.

Henri Camara is a disgrace to the sport of association football in every way concievable. He is shite, greedy, arrogant, disloyal and most probably rapes babies.

As for the one against Aberdeen, I wouldn't lay the blame anywhere but at his feet. He has ten yards or so in front of him, with no-one steaming in for any obvious tackle. The duffer he took it past turns slower than my grandad and makes no attempt to go for the ball again, he just starts running up. So why he can't take the time to pick out a decent pass is beyond me. With the space he has, he could probably get into a decent shooting position as well.

The free kick is fair enough, but it's some shocking goalkeeping to say the keeper had that post pretty much covered. It's pretty much like the one Rooney took today, only James saved it.
Jesus calm down, they're 3 old clips.

If you were being that critical about your beloved Cristiano, you'd probably grow to hate him.

ECG, Camara is not shit, he scores some good goals and he was good for Wolves.

Aenima, whats the point of Given staying with you, you won't be in Europe next season, Souness is an incompetant boob, and with him in the United or Arsenal team they'd be in a better league position, I would be shocked if he stays put.

On our side, because he's a really superb goalkeeper that earns us more points than Alan Shearer over the course of a season.

On his side, he's a bit thick with blind loyalties. He could have left a long time ago, but he keeps coming out and saying he loves the club and wants to stay. I wouldn't really blame him if he went, to be honest, but I wouldn't complain if he stayed.

And yeah obviously you'd want him to stay, but he was fucking sensational against Arsenal at the Library, and Wenger must have taken notice.

Gatesy just follows me around nowadays. Ever since Berne died.

I don't know why nobody has put a bid in for Given yet. He's about 30 now, and been playing regular first team football for a good six or seven years. There was a rumour going around before the January transfer window that Ferguson wanted to take him to Old Trafford in the summer, along with Jenas, which was a weird one. No idea how that one'll play out.

No, Camara is absolute bollocks. He has the touch of an absolute rapist and is a woeful finisher. One of the worst players I have seen at Premiership level, and definitely at Champions League level.

He's quick, and black. That's all he has going for him as a footballer.

As for Shay, I think he's still only 27 or 28. He made his debut for Ireland at 17, about ten years ago, and has been pretty much number 1 since then.

Maybe he wasn't 17 on his debut, actually, but pretty sure he was still a teenager. I think I'm getting him mixed up with Kilbane who came in around the same time as a 17 year old.

Yeah the way he treated Wolves and stuff was bang out of order.

Given may be 30 but up until this season Newscatle has always been competing for a Champions League place and always seem to look like they might get it, now that they are officially shit, and with Shearer on his way out.

Just checked, he's 28. I thought he was older than that, seems to have been at Newcastle forever. Love that bastard.

I remember when Kenny Dalglish had a mental breakdown and tried to sell off all our best players. Given was one of them. My God he was a cunt.

Actually, he established himself in the Dalglish era, when we were midtable and going nowhere. Out of the eight seasons since, we've challenged for the Champions League about four times. People always seem to forget that between third place with Sir Bobby and second with Keegan we were struggling to finish in the top half.

I don't care if he scored a great goal on his debut. I see great goals on windy pitches in North Antrim on Saturday afternoons scored by fat wankers who smoke 40 cigs a day.

Fact is, Henri Camara has a first touch akin to that of the seductive caress of a rapist, he is quite capable of missing 10 times when presented with 10 clear-cut chances, and overall is a diabolical footballer who does not belong anywhere near top flight level.

Considering the flak his countryman Diouf got, despite being far superior in quality, Camara should probably be executed in the Tower of London for being paid so much money to pretend to be a Premiership footballer.

He was largely terrible for Wolves, except for a couple of months at the end where score four or five decent goals.

Never saw him for Celtic, but I've been told he was worse for them than Stephane Guiv'arch was for us.

I'm just saying, all I've seen of him is that. I'd be interested to see more if you've got it, because anyone who can pull that off must have something going for him.

On an entirely seperate note, I think I am deeply and utterly in love with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/m...er/4265489.stm

Manchester United star Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has joined the anti Malcolm Glazer protest by becoming a patron of fans action group Shareholders United.
"I think it is important that the club remains in the right hands," said the man who scored the winning goal in the team's 1999 Champions League victory.

"I am honoured," said Solskjaer, who is the first current player from the Reds to join the group.

Other patrons include ex stars Harry Gregg, Alex Stepney and Paddy Crerand.

"I am absolutely on the supporters' side and think the club is in very good hands as it is today," said Solskjaer.

"I am a United fan myself and only want what is best for the future."

The announcement came on Monday as US tycoon Glazer finally got a chance to view the club's accounts as part of the due diligence process - the investigation to check a business is viable before a takeover.

Everyone had a fit over the lad when he got a few goals for Wolves but he really is nothing special. He's a Championship player.

Honestly, this will sound like I'm bitter or something, but the spectacular goals he scores are flukes. 9/10 times they would go out of the stadium. I'm surprised you don't remember the game at the Bridge last season when he only managed to score via the inside of Carlo's right leg.

Arsenal 3-0 up at half time, some good goals but Palace were the better side for the opening 15 or so.

Lehmann very nearly did an Enckleman aswell.

Same linesman as the one at Old Trafford too. It was on the line when Lehmann cleared it.

5-1 at fulltime, could have been 6. Henry scored from onside but Bergkamp was offside so it was dissalowed. Vieira gave away a penalty but other than that was fantastic, as was Bergkamp.

yeah, Camara is absolutly bollocks. From what I remember of his goals he scored for Wolves, a lot of them were long shots that go in when you have a bit of luck, like Adam pointed out. None of them were good, clinical finishes. I remember he fucked up this shot at Old Trafford from about 1 yard out because he tried to be clever with it.

Dickheads kept ringing into phone ins down here in the summer and saying "we should be going for Camara, good proven premiership player." I nearly cried. He's just an old version of Yakubu. Plus he's a complete cunt.

Wolves must be laughing at the amount of money stupid clubs are paying them to loan him off them.

Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

The Icelandic international was stopped in the early hours of Sunday morning in Surrey.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "At 5.20am on Sunday on the A3 southbound near Esher, officers stopped a car due to the way it was being driven. The driver, a 26-year-old man, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol."

She added: "He was taken to a south London police station and has since been bailed to return on a date at the end of March."

A report in The Sun suggested Gudjohnsen had been out celebrating his winning goal in Chelsea's victory at Everton on Saturday.

I can't for the life of me remember his goal actually. I remember all of our ones, but like I've said to Owen before, I often forget goals against us. All I remember is you lot thinking you might get a sneaky win or a draw then Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Floyd 'Asselbaink annihilated you

I never thought that actually. I was listening to it on Five Live and we seemed to be doing ok, then they went round the grounds and my heart sank cause I knew when they went back you'd have scored

Bloody Lampard
