The Rays have won the last 6 games he's started, and Cobb himself has gotten the win in 4 of those 6 games, with 2 no decisions.

A word of caution, though. The Yankees are going to come out tonight swinging, they're not going to go down easy and risk having the Orioles tie them for first.

The way the Yankees play has been very frustrating for me. But I am not gonna bitch or moan or anything. I mean the Yankees go to the playoffs almost every single year and will probably even get there next year. So, 2012 if the Yankees don't make it at least I can have a little satisfaction in knowing the Red Sox or Phillies won't be there either. It would be nice for us to be in the playoffs again, but the O'S have not been to the playoffs since god knows when. All that I am truly saying is that if the Yankees don't make it to the playoffs I will be OK, I might try to steer clear from ESPN, and others for a while but other teams deserve a chance too.

Besides, the Dodgers have been my second favorite team for like 3 years now, and if the Yankees don't get in it just means I'm gonna have to cheer for the Dodgers that much more.

Still hoping the Yanks can get in, but they had each and every opportunity to not let the lead dwindle down like this. If the Yankees wind up in third place then I am sorry to say, that they never deserved to be in the playoffs in 2012 to begin with.

That Yankee team is starting to look a lot like last season's Boston team.

You could see the frustration in Joe Girardi when he got tossed. It wasn't just about that call by the umpire, you could see it was just plain frustration about what has happened to the team.

The Yankees were 10 games up on July 18th. 19-25 since, o's have gone 29-15.

Crazy thing is the red sox were .5 gb of the os, they've gone 15-29...the Yankees have BARELY been better than the red sox over that stretch...only teams better than the o's over that stretch are reds, nats and A's.

The Tampa Bay Rays were 10 1/2 games back in the AL East on July 18.

Now they're within 1.5 games. The beauty in this is that not only do they make life miserable for the Yankees, they climb up as they do so.

Os have $4 turn back the clock to 1992 seats for next week vs the rays, I might go Wednesday..

I definitely deserve to win Rookie of the Year although I think they're going to give it to Wade Miley. That's fine though cause he definitely deserves it. As long as I don't lose to Bryce "The Faggot" Harper, I won't be that upset.

I got a ticket for next wed vs the rays..the o's in conjunction with the orioles forum I post at had section 8 tickets regularly $45 for 1992's price of $13. 2 games in 1 week, I think thats a first for me..
