If they loose "we were the better team".

It doesn't matter if they're down 21 points in the 4th, their mouth keeps going.

That being said, the Colts aren't a "smash mouth" offense, that's not how their built and that's not what they need to be, plenty of teams aren't. I think their record shows their style works pretty well for them.

Actually #3 should be, it's about time. He's been around too long to never get a head coaching job. Maybe he didn't want to jump the gun and embarrass himself. And if this was the year to do it, Vikings are win now. Packers are win 5 years ago, Lions are win never, Chiefs are win yesterday, but break a hip tomorrow, Rams are win in 99. So in a way, maybe it's potential... the Texans are the only team with three good skill position players. trade a mid-round pick for Owens, and you have the potential to be an amazing offense...

This rule is responsible for people like Marvin Lewis, Lovie Smith, Tony Dungy etc. getting their jobs. There will come a time when the rule is not necessary... but what does it hurt, honestly? First off, it prevents racism. Second off, LOOK WHO HAS BEEN HIRED AS A RESULT. It's like being forced to play the lottery, except for free. In the end, what did it cost you besides a three-hour interview?

I'm not denying that a black coach isn't as qualified as a white coach or anything like that. Tony Dungy, Marvin Lewis and Lovie Smith all have shown they know the recipe for success and more power to them. The thing that annoys me about this little rule the NFL has, is that the teams should take it upon themselves to interview a broad range of candidates, rather than being told to do so. I guess thats the world we live in.

yep, Pats lost, still got 3 rings the last 4 years

The Pass interferance call was complete crap, the Side Judge had the view and didn't throw it, the back judge from the other side of the field threw it, horrible call.

The turnovers (like any team) killed the pats, I give the Broncos credit, they capitalised on turnovers which is what the good teams do to win.

Play of the game, Ben Watson on Champ Bailey

We've been spoiled as Pats fans, Vinateri always hits them, Brady doesn't make bad throws, they don't fumble... but it all happened today.

Troy Brown, best KR on the team, the guy who is put in for high/short kicks...

Held Plummer to under 200 yds, sacked twice.

Brady never got sacked, threw for 341yds

5 turnovers.

That should be the real score.

Denver 5, Patriots 1.

The turnovers is what killed the Pats.

ugh... I'd rather have been just completely out played then lose that way.

I'd rather have seen plummer put up 400yds and andersn and bell each rush for 100yds, the lose on 5 fucking turnovers.

No, the Red Sox one win doesn't erase 86 years.

No, the Pats loss in the playoffs this year doesn't erase 10 in a row in the playoffs, 3 superbowls in 4 years, back 2 back superbowl wins.

That being said, their is a reason it's called "history" and the only team that gets the bragging rights is the winner on Feb 5th.

Who knows, maybe Seattle will finally have something to brag about!

VEL you are way too predictable. I don't know how many times I've told you this, but Seattle has nothing to do with Boston or Boston fans. Every time I've ever made a post about Boston/Boston fans you seem to bring up Seattle, you shold try to stay on topic.

I don't think it was you specifically who had the "who cares about the past years, we won it this year" attitude, but I've definately heard that out of several Boston fans. And now you say the exact opposite (and I know many more will share that attitude), it just makes the whole community of Boston fans look even more retarded than they are generally perceived to be.
