Somebody please tell me why the fuck I bothered pre-ordering it from EBGames for in-store pickup? They never called me and when I went in just earlier, they had like 30 copies of it. The guy even joked around about being out of stock.

So yeah, got it, waiting for g/f to come over to play it together. I want to share the special moment with her, when I watch the intro video(s) and menus for the first time.

I'm not sure all the stuff being listed are "glitches"...
but there is something kind of gay about this game.
It seems all the females can do in the ways of gimmick matches is the wack FYF match. No Cage, No Ladder, Nothing... I could live without the First Blood matches, but ALL of the gimmick matches (except Ironman and Submission)? PB&J!

that's a minus .8 from the final score from me right there. Since female CAWs can't even go into that one match, what's the use of them? Thumbs down.

Is it just me or is it too easy to hit the ref and get DQed? I must have lost five matches in season because I hit the ref by mistake...

And because of it, I (KURT FREAKIN' ANGLE) was put on VELOCITY vs. JOY, AND I WAS DQED IN THAT TOO!

Other than that earlier gripe about the restrictions put on female characters, the game seems to be all kinds of gold.

I think that might be the only complaint I have.

No BGM during matches is the game functioning as designed (I always turned it off in earlier games, especially HCTP with its tendency to hang).

The funny stamina sound effect might be the game functioning as designed as well. It sounds like it was intentional.

and LMFAO @ "EC F'N W" being one of the WWE logos in CAW.

When you guys say funny stamina sound, what exactly IS the sound it makes? I'm curious about this, because I've heard a LOT of people mention it.

I actually heard someone on GameFAQs say it was a breathing effect. For you guys that have played it, does that hold any bearing?

Yeah, it sounds real flatulent...

the new grappling system = CLASSIC.

Though it is pretty gay that Hurricane has the Vertebreaker, but you have to UNLOCK it....to move it elsewhere in his moveset.

seriously though, you need a special stored, you gotta be on the floor

when they do a move on you, hold circle and do the right reversal (grapple or strike) when you get attacked. if you do the right one you pin them, wrong one you lose your special. I think you lose your special if you get it done right as well.

So wait, for Possum pin, you hold circle and counter from the ground? I couldn't find it in the manual.

My only major gripes with the game are it's hard as hell to hit ariel finishers (Eddie or RVD's frogsplash), and the fact that the ref seems to constantly get in the way and get hit, causing DQs (Computer and mine). Worst case scenario, I can turn off DQ, but I'd like to leave it on.

Also, it sucks that all finishers don't have the slowdown (Like Edge's spear doesn't have it).... Also, Edge seems really supercharged, like they sped up his entrance and his spear...

I DO FUCKING LOVE THAT THEY BROUGHT BACK THE MANUAL MATRIX EFFECT THOUGH!! FUCK YEAH!!!!

It should have been shipped yesterday when it was released, should have gotten it today so I can call in sick tomorrow!!!
