D.Va

Defense Matrix
Cooldown decreased from 10 seconds to 1 second
A new resource meter has been added. This meter will deplete while Defense Matrix is active and then recharge when it’s not in use.
Defense Matrix takes 10 seconds to reach full charge from empty
At a full charge, Defense Matrix will last for 4 seconds
Defense Matrix will now remain active as long as its assigned hotkey is held
Defense Matrix has been reclassified as an alternate fire and is now bound to RMB (by default)
An option to “Toggle Defense Matrix” has been added under Options > Controls > D.Va
Self-Destruct
Ultimate cost decreased by 15%
Explosion delay reduced from 4 seconds to 3 seconds
Explosion no longer damages D.Va (the player who activates it)

Mercy

Caduceus Staff
Damage Boost
Bonus damage increased from 30% to 50%
Effect will no longer stacks with bonus damage provided by another Mercy
Resurrect
Ultimate charge cost increased by 30%
Movement is no longer prevented during activation
Guardian Angel instantly resets upon use

Stacking characters didn't really feel like an advantage over a balanced squad. I've seen a Bastion squad fall to a Genji squad. This rule is going to cause people to rage quit due to not getting the character they feel comfortable with and the trolls will purposely pick the character the next round just to send it home. If 2 or more people want to be the same character they should flip for it like in sudden death, otherwise it is just shit for them to do this.

It's called "Culling the weak".

Genji is a direct counter to Bastion anyway, had the Genji Team lost, they would need to git gud and try again.

Yeah, I'm a bit concerned with the decision as well, particularly when I'm on a team who picks a character they are complete shit with and I know I can do a better job (happens often with Reinhardts and Reapers).

Now I'll just be stuck with a shitty Reinhardt or Reaper and cross my fingers that they switch eventually so I can take over.

Oh shit, I've been maining D.Va since switching to PC as she's a fun character to play, but now I might wreck yet more shit.

Glad they got rid of stacking, it's not hard, it's just so fucking dull when the defence is all Tor and Bastion so you have to switch to that same character again. I just end up turning the game off.

Ana dropped. Put her through the target range and she's kinda fun. Not as mobile as Widowmaker or Hanzo but a very good support sniper. My only complaint is she has no vertical movement that I can see. I might be missing something though.

Self healing now increases your ult, so they increased Roadhogs Ult by 45%, but Bastions by only 10%. I think we're going to be seeing a lot more tanks...

Lucios is only 10% too, but I get that one.

They already have in competitive. They're not going to stop stacking in quick play, because that's the "for fun" mode.

Still though, not seen that. Seen a lot of heavy Ana only teams.

You did well. I'm getting a handle on Ana. We just make sloppy decisions late in the game that make us choke hard. But our team can be solid. Just have to bring on the synergy.

I was having fun, new to the "group" so I didn't want to crack jokes during serious time. That being said, Tracer is my current project to get better with. She is so much easier on the console to control. I'm still not 100% committed to playing kb/m over a controller. My PC refuses to sync my controllers up correctly so I'm stuck with a keyboard and mouse that have Overwatch exclusive problems I have to work around that has made it unbearable and/or unenjoyable to play.

Hopefully we'll get to play more in the future. I'm off to Iowa for a week and won't be on, good luck though getting your groove in order.

Overwatch is built around switching things up based on the map and the opponent. The best advice for the game is to make sure you try everyone and get a feel for who works in what situation so you're ready.

Yeah while switching is good we all have our 'mains' that we're versed enough with to use in many cases and modes. I go Genji unless a specific hard counter is needed. My coworker almost exclusively runs Zarya no matter what, and it works for him.
