As you might expect, I am stupidly happy about Brock Lesnar coming back.

That said, I'm not really sure what to make of the angle. Like, Michael Cole should have been freaking out more and going full NXT-era Daniel Bryan on Brock Lesnar for beating the shit out of him. I need more details about how the last time we saw Brock Lesnar, Stephanie McMahon was livid and suspending him, to now they're bringing him in to face off with their supposed chosen WHO JUST WON ON HIS OWN.

Given the fact that it was like a three minute segment, I'm not that worried, it's just weird.

Then the suplexes will start and I won't care.

Not in favor of this idea on paper but I'm expecting Sheamus to walk out of Battleground as champion.

Rollins and Hunter continue to tease a split leading into the PPV. At Battleground, Lesnar is beating the hell out of Rollins, but he shows some life/toughness. Rollins splashes Lesnar threw the announce table ala Rumble. Out comes Sheamus, cash-in, pins Rollins.

Next night on RAW, Hunter kicks Rollins out of the Authority with a beatdown on him

Sets up HHH/Rollins and Lesnar/Sheamus (c) at Summerslam

At Battleground, it looks like Brock Lesnar will win when Kurt Angle interferes and cost Brock the title. At SummerSlam, we get Seth Rollins vs Triple H with Ambrose as Special Guest Referee, Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle, and SHEAMUS vs Taka Michinoku.

Also, are they building toward a tough love gimmick, because after Rollins won, it's a little late for the 'punish you for being a prick' gimmick...

... If they're deadset on Rollins actually keeping the title, that's actually a perfect way to do it. Now that they've established MITB allows you to just become part of a match for some reason instead of starting your own.

^ I agree that this would be the best strategy. If Lesnar gets the title back, Summerslam would be the best place to do it IMO. Then Rollins hopefully sticks around the main event scene and continues to toughen up?

Wish Orton won MITB. He could have taken the title off of Rollins to build Lesnar vs Orton. That match needs to happen at some point.

The way that promo was heading, I thought for sure HHH was going to be his next opponent. I think that would have been better. Have Rollins go over HHH at Battleground and the next night on Raw when HHH is accepting of Rollins as the right investment, out comes Lesnar in that "oh shit" moment. Lesnar over Rollins at Summerslam and then you could have had a great HHH/Rollins feud afterwards as HHH kicks Rollins to the curb for losing the title and being embarrased. That would have been a great program.
