The problem with xrod is that he IS an intelligent poster. I'm never surprised when he makes a valid point, but I stopped interacting when it became clear that he was actively choosing to play the jester and mostly make far reaching criticisms for his own amusement, when there are plenty of legit, more obvious arguments to be made against aew. You can tell by how carefully he chooses what posts he responds to. Anyone makes a counterpoint good enough, he ignores it completely.

He doesn't break character enough to genuinely add discussion to the forum, so I don't really care if he leaves, regardless of how hard up we are for new blood.

I agree with most of xrod’s criticism. However, his approach is extremely cringeworthy. I doubt he’ll leave over something like that. He’s a wrestling forum staple for better or worse.

It's fair to criticize Tony Khan's conduct. But that's all you ever post about.

Its literally been 6 days, since Tony Khan spazzed out on New Years Eve, that I have randomly inserted a joke about Tony Khan being racist. Maybe a total of 5 posts that I "shoehorned" it in where it had nothing to do with anything. And yes, that was by design, but still.

People want to stick their fingers in their ears and ignore reason so they can enjoy the thing they’ve hitched their wagon to. I know I’m disrupting the peace when I talk about AEW sucking, their flaws and what it is doing to the perception of wrestling. But I also know that I am not alone and that people do appreciate the balance and it might make them feel less insane if they come on here and see it is not a complete echo chamber.

No comments on this TBS show. It didn’t even hit my radar this week. I’m interested in the rating though.
