Adder sent me a proposal in the roto league and I'm thinking about accepting it but I wanna see what you guys thought so it doesn't get vetoed.

I would get Brad Hawpe and JD Drew which would solidify my OF which is my weakest position and Adder would get Alex Rodriguez who I can depart with since I have Garret Atkins. What do you guys think?

Well since you have Atkins and if you think that would solidify your OF, I think it's a decent deal. He's a pretty bold guy to trade with, always has a reason he feels is sound. I certainly wouldn't veto it.

I think so too. And I figure most guys in the league might think it's unfair since A-Rod by himself will probably have the same stats as Hawpe and Drew combined but it's all about need

I think Arod is either going to have an MVP type year or a stinker of a year. A person can gamble on that or take the sure thing. Even a JD Drew that gets 450 ABs will give you really good numbers, and if he's healthy in that lineup...

With 2 out and no one on base or even 1 one base, wanna bet how many times they walk Ortiz & Manny to get to Drew?

Part of what makes Ortiz great is Manny, w/o Manny behined him he'd get walked, now Manny comes up, do you pitch to him, or put him on base and pitch to Drew?

It's not even that. You'd have to match Soriano's stolen bases for me to even consider it, I've got enough power in my team and definitely enough first basemen and outfielders.

Plus I've already got Liriano on my DL, it'll be full once yahoo gets around to DL'ing Jered Weaver, I could do with not being a player down on the rest of the league.

Liriano won't pitch all year. He had major elbow surgery and the recovery process takes forever.
