Get rid of the Hefty Lefty.. As much as I love J-Lo, he has underachieved since getting drafted from Kentucky.. Woodson is a guy who will be a Pro Bowl QB in years to come, from Kentucky..

Yep, going into the draft it was between Wright and J-Load for the last spot since we signed Carr. Now they are both gone.

I'd honestly try to keep J-Load, the dude could probably make a decent backup tight end/fullback

But when Lorenzen was at kentucky, they were horrible.. Same with Tim Couch.. Andre Woodson made them a contender..

Y'all obviously aren't understanding what I am saying..

Woodson is a great athlete and has skills at QB.. Much more so than Jared Lorenzen or David Carr.. I never said he was gonna come in and take over for Eli, I'm just saying it was a nice pick-up.. All yall want to talk about is how Eli is still young and how yall already have back up QBs..

I'm happy, they addressed needs and got some decent value in their picks,

I like Mayo, without the year missed for a broken wrist Whealty could have been a 1st round CB. a shut down guy with speed... of course being 5'9 will hurt him a bit.

Crable from what I read is gonna need to add some muscle, he's fast but the reports is no lower leg power.

O'Connell was a suprise, but seems to have good skills, good strong passer with accuracy, but seems to make some bad decisions... can sit and learn behined Brady for a few years.

Slater will be a kick/punt returner most likely, and Willhite and Ruud we'll have to wait and see.

lmao when Tennesse picked a guy in the 4th that the NFL didn't even have on the draft list.

I hope he turns out to be good, would be a nice story.

I hope you are right though. They def needed to address the LB situation so I am glad they moved down and still got the guy they wanted. Ended up using one of the 2008 3rd rounders they got from the Saints and packaged it up and now got a 2nd rounder in 2009 (I think thats how it worked out anyway)

Colts got the perfect linebacker for their system with Phillip Wheeler, I think he has a chance to perform like Cato June did a few years back.

Mayo was def one of the best SEC LBs this year.. Ali Highsmith is another that stands out and he didn't even get drafted.. Hopefully we'll go after him now..

I think the first WR taken was Donny Avery from the Uni. of Houston. The guy from Coastal Carolina (Simpson is his last name) went to the Bengals after that IIRC.

Solid draft I think for the Giants. Nabbed a couple defensive backs (1 S and 1 CB) as well as a couple LB's. Hopefully one of these LB's can create some competition and push the rest of them. Also got Manningham, I hope he turns out into a respectable threat within a few years.

Just read in the Boston Hearld that the Ravens tried to move up to the Rams #2 spot to take Matt Ryan. Dude is gonna be so nice in the NFL I think, I was kinda surprised some people didn't think he was the best QB in the draft.

He probably will end up being the best QB coming out of this year's draft. I think compared to previous years this year's quarterbacks are weak though.
