Theres a difference between looking dejected after a bad play, which every QB or player does, but I see it on TV all the time, Delhomme throwing a hissy fit.

I see Jake throwing a fit and I also see him flipping out like a little girl when he's happy, too. I mean, it's no "I WANT THE BALL AND IM GONNA SCORE" or whatever, but it's emotion just the same.
I dunno, didn't read any of the replies but... it all came down to one team having the MVP, and the other team didn't. ![]() Stupid Deshawn Foster's faggot ass leg. WTF. Stupid Panthers. I thought it was gonna be a Wildcard superbowl 4 sure. ![]() |

Alexander showed up today, while the Panthers running game did not. That was the difference. Even with a huge punt return TD by Smith, the Panthers really looked out matched the entire time. Seahawks defense played real well, granted they weren't going againest the best the Panthers had to offer - he's still a pretty succesful NFL running back, they showed a lot of energy and were really getting after the ball. I think if Seattle's defense is as active on the Superbowl as it was today, I really don't see the Steelers having a chance.
Im sure people will want to talk about Delhomme's horrible numbers, I don't really like Delhomme at all because he is a kind of a spaz, but with running game like the Panthers had today no QB would have been succesful. |

The Panthers have been inconsistent all year. Some games they looked dominant, while others they looked like ass. They couldn't expect to make it through the playoffs without an ass-like performance.
I'm picking the Steelers in the Super Bowl, but deep down I'm still hoping there's some way the Packers can come back and win it all. *crosses fingers* |

But the Steelers have a running game. One hell of a running game, to be exact. You cannot pressure Big Ben when you have to account for the Bus, who is in his last game, back home in Detroit... he's going to be so unbelievably pumped. He was giggling like a girl after yesterday's game "Hi guys! Enjoy the game? ![]() I think a combination of that running game, plus the fact that Cowher is a better coach than John Fox, I don't care what Howie Long or anyone else says... you don't stay that good for that long with Kordell Stewart at QB when you're not a good coach. I think the hawks can win, but I think the Steelers can also run away with this one. They beat the #1 #2 and #3 seeds to get here. In the AFC; and the AFC is far stronger than the NFC... so it's like the Steelers have already beaten team as good or better than the Hawks three times in the playoffs alone! I only hope they don't get ahead of themselves. This is Pitt's game to lose, but since they're finally not the underdog playing in a hostile environment, who knows what they'll do? |

Panthers had a pretty good defense too though and the Seahawks didnt really have much trouble. AFC is much better then the NFC but the Seahawks are the NFC's best team. Its the same as the NBA, the Western conference is a lot better then the Eastern Conference, but in the championship game it can go either way. (Last 2 years anyways) Should be a good game, would be a better game if the Patriots where in it though

![]() Also, I saw Salley on "Best blah blah blah period" clowning on Alexander for being gay... then Rodney Peete was talking about how he loves Shaun but has to pick his boys, then Shaun was like "Yeah you picked USC too didn't you? I'm actually glad you picked Carolina to win." ![]() Good stuff. |

Read an interesting story the other day in the Lexington Herald Leader. It talked about Alexander wanting to go play for UK but they didnt even recruit him! It would have been interesting to see UK in that era with Couch at QB and Alexander at RB.

Well the teams that are apparently possible destinations for Daunte are Baltimore, Oakland, Miami, St. Louis, and Arizona.
Why not get New Orleans involved and save Leinart from looking so bad in those uniforms ![]() |

It just means he was very passionate about that point, so much so that he felt it just didn't hit home the first two times.

IAMI -- Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor faces up to 46 years in prison after two additional assault charges were filed against him Friday. Sean Taylor Taylor Michael Grieco, an assistant state attorney, said the charges reflect Taylor's alleged threatening of three people with a gun in an armed confrontation over an all-terrain vehicle on June 1. Taylor, 22, now faces three counts of aggravated assault, each of which carries a minimum sentence of three years and a maximum of 15 years in prison. He also faces one misdemeanor battery charge that carries a potential one-year prison term. Trial is scheduled to begin March 20 for Taylor, a former University of Miami star who signed a seven-year, $18-million contract after being drafted by the Redskins in 2004. He has six interceptions and 120 tackles in his two seasons. Taylor's attorney, Edward Carhart, said the additional charges surprised him. "The state has had this case since June and now they're filing these added charges? It's bizarre," Carhart said. Taylor has pleaded not guilty and remains free on $16,500 bond. The Redskins lost to the Seattle Seahawks two weeks ago in the NFC playoffs. In a playoff victory against Tampa Bay, Taylor was ejected after spitting in the face of Buccaneers running back Michael Pittman. Earlier in that game, he ran a fumble back for a touchdown. --------------- dont think he is going to jail though. ray lewis and o.j simpson both killed people and didn't go. he'll get off just like any one else who has a ton of money and probably will be sentenced to community service and whatnot. |

So, do you think Matt Hasselbeck is a capable Super Bowl winning QB? Or are they just going to hope Shaun Alexander does all thier work for them?
