R2 doesn't work either. Man, I just think reversing finishers are impossible in this game.

How the hell do you reverse the casket door from closing... i've tried pressing L2 & R2 but it never works...

Press R2 just as the ball get into the blue part.

And I dunno what's wrong with your copy of the game Terran, I can reverse just fine.

I know, I went threw GM Mode 3 times and still haven't won GM of the year. And at the WM turny thing I won all the matchs too.

Only the specialty matches (Cage, HIAC, Submission, etc.) cost money. The regular matches (Tag, Single) don't because they can't charge your for every match, otherwise you wouldn't be able to complete GM mode.

I can reverse fine by pressing L2+R2. You just have to do it whenever you think they're going to to go for it. Don't go by the game because you'll never be able to press it in time.

Also, to keep the casket from closing you have to press X to stop the ball inside the blue zone.

Yeah, don't go by the prompt that says 'Press L2 + R2' on the screen. I kept trying it to get the reveral finisher challenge completed, and I finally figure out that I had to hit L2/R2 a split second BEFORE the computer did the finisher. It's hard to time, but you'll adjust to it. I have a hell of a time doing it still as well. It's just a matter of beating the computer to press the buttons basically.


Well, 3 trophies left to get...Need to get Trish's contract for the Diva trophy, since I haven't gotten that story on Raw yet. Going through it with Trips now. Need to get the Match Veteran trophy, and I need to get GM of the Year. After that, everything'll be unlocked here.

I need that Match Veteran trophy. Other then that I have everything unlocked/finished.

Need to do that GM again for Roberts though. Oh well it should be easy to do.

In regards to that GM/Roberts thing, no one has confirmed it. Zurick posted pics on GameFAQs, but I don't think anyone else has yet to get it to work. If one of you guys find out, it'd be good to have some clarification.

And dammit, I get the Eugene/Regal story instead of Trish's contract story. Or IS that it?

I had the best match ever last night

Paul London(me) Vs Mankind(com) for the World title 18:43 seconds in he gets me with a possum pin for the 1 2 3 I was so fucking pissed though the match included Sleeper hold knockout thing double KO and several Possum pins

Regardless of what it says, don't TAP X. Wait until the dot is in the blue field and then press X a single time. Just a press, not a fast tapping contest. If you do it at the right time, you'll break the hold.

My problem is knocking people out with it. It seems like it's random or something. I've beaten people down all into complete and total red, and somehow they still manage to get out at the third arm drop, sometimes the first or second. THAT pisses me off more than anything. I eventually always beat them with it though, if it pisses me off enough (won't take no for an answer ).

I finally got it yesterday. Amazing graphics. I'm glad they slowed down the gameplay a lot too. Makes for longer and waaaaaaaaay better matches. There's more commentary which is good. Amazing game. I don't know why Daivari and Hassan are tag champs though. Carlito looks freaking real. Me go play now.

Oh if you haven't noticed, when you hit a move off the top rope your special meter usually fills right up for you have one, so if you really need one, hit a top rope move.

It's hard to time, but you'll adjust to it. I have a hell of a time doing it still as well. It's just a matter of beating the computer to press the buttons basically.


Well, 3 trophies left to get...Need to get Trish's contract for the Diva trophy, since I haven't gotten that story on Raw yet. Going through it with Trips now. Need to get the Match Veteran trophy, and I need to get GM of the Year. After that, everything'll be unlocked here.
I'm playing 2-players, both controlled by me, and no matter how I time it I just can't reverse the damn finisher. I don't want to cheat and unlock everything with my CodeBreaker, but I just might have to if I can't do it.

That's how I did it too. It's hard, even if you're doing both yourself. Unlike the first SvR and DoR 1/2, you have to REALLY beat them to the punch. I can appreciate the realism of reacting on the fly, but gameplay-wise, that's a negative aspect.

At first reversing finishers was impossible for me, but I do it all the time now.

Does anyone else think that our "smarkish" nature tends to work against us in GM mode?

For example, Masters has a higher popularity by default, but most of us would far rather put Christian, Carlito, and in some cases Paul London for example, over. That was just a thought I had in passing.


As of now, I only have to get the GM mode trophy, and then I can enjoy this in it's entirety. Pure bliss.

Oh yeah. ROFL, I don't know what I was thinking. Guess I'm used to seeing him higher on the card than the others.

I just had that thought in passing. Seems like some of the guys that many of us would like to push are cursed with lower starting OVRs, and in turn, get shafted because of it.

From what I'm hearing, the Jake Roberts glitch doesn't work Zurick seems to be the main person backing it up though, but other peeps are saying it doesn't work... Why Zurick would lie though, I don't know.

Anywho, had some good matches today. Mysterio Vs London, Shelton Vs Mysterio and London Vs Shelton... Good stuff.... Also, changed mysterios second finisher to the Hurracuranna pin 2... Good stuff.

I just wish the stupid ass flying clothesline from the corner grapple wasn't finisher only I can't give it to Shelton... Gave him the corner grapple axe handle instead.

I was surprised too. I don't want to doubt Zurick just yet, since he's been legit a lot in the past. But you're right; most people are saying that it doesn't work at all. Even worse, Zurick will come onto the boards and say "Yeah I promise 100% that it DOES work!", and then disappear, never bothering to answer anyone's questions about it. Sounds a little fishy to me.
