Yeah, but WWE audience KNOWS HHH ins't in DX anymore, so it's not the same.

Right now, the storyline is that no one knows why Nash in even doing in WWE, so it makes just a LITTLE more sense, wouldn't you say?

Because the NWO is long dead? Because the last time he was in WWE, he didn't use it?

NWO was such a huge thing, that was about so much more than just Kevin Nash, that it feels weird to me, to see someone simply using their theme when it has no relevance.

Just feels like a theme that should be used for the actual NWO, and the actual NWO, only. Not a former member, years after it's gone defunct.

My point is that WWE was worried that the current audience wouldn't remember Nash, so why not use his most famous theme that MORE people will remember?

How does the "nobody knows his motivation" angle have anything to do with him walking down the ramp to nWo music? Hunter is Kliq, yes, but wasn't in the nWo, so that doesn't even cast sideways doubt. It's a stretch, at best. And like I said, it brings expectations of others associated with said music, and so far, it's just Nash. And possibly Super Dave- but even HE had nothing to do with the nWo.

We want to reintroduce Nash to the current audience, should we use his old Blues theme that only the IWC remembers, or should we use the theme he is more known for?

Decisions, decisions

What? No.

Does the WWE audience not know Kevin Nash is no longer in the NWO?

What does entrance music have to do with his motives for returning?

They could have fixed that by not having him appear ONCE at the Rumble then never seen or heard from again until a couple of weeks ago.

Booker was a "surprise" entrant too, and he's been on commentary pretty much since then.

And people seemed to know who both men were at said Royal Rumble.

I agree. They should have done it sooner. Doesn't mean it makes less sense now.

Also, maybe I'[m alone here, but I don't think the MSG crowd truly reflects the "average" WWE audience.

WWE can't hang their hat on what a notoriously smarky crowd reacted to.

If the theme he was most known for was HIS theme and not the theme of an entire faction.

The NWO theme was as big a part of the NWO as anything else involved, and using it for anything other than the NWO, feels out of place to me.

And if people don't know who Kevin fucking Nash is, then they aren't going to know who the NWO are, because he was with them from beginning to end.

From the front page:

– WWE’s website has published an article looking at Kevin Nash’s return and how it’s similar to the NWO, teasing the return of the infamous group. As seen on RAW tonight, Nash is using the NWO theme music.

I disagree. I'm willing to bet money that more people know who the NWO was, than just Kevin Nash individuality.

Anyway, that's beyond the point. Seems like this theme issue is more of a personal hang-up than a "WWE fucked" issue. My advice is for you to get over it. In a few weeks no one will remember or care what theme Kevin Nash came out to on August 29, 2011

It doesn't actually bother me, so I don't need to get over it.

And if they were intending to tease an NWO return, they should have done more than just play the entrance music. Given the response, I'm not the only one who was thrown off by it, and didn't see an NWO return, in the move.

http://www.wwe.com/inside/wwefeature...urn-of-the-nwo

Fifteen years ago, Kevin Nash rocked sports-entertainment by assembling the infamous New World Order. More than a decade later, WWE may be on the brink of a new incarnation of the black and white. The influential group’s beginnings were rooted in confusion and conspiracy involving Kevin Nash, similar to the current state of WWE.

In 1996, The Outsiders, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall — known in WWE as Diesel and Razor Ramon, respectively — began appearing on WCW Monday Nitro. Their infamous words, “you want a war?” immediately struck a nerve and paranoia about a coming WWE invasion ran rampant inside the WCW locker room. At Bash at the Beach, Hulk Hogan shocked the world when he joined The Outsiders to form the New World Order, one of the most impactful groups in history.

The paranoia of a new regime coming into WCW in 1996 draws bold parallels to the current state of WWE under Triple H. While the Chief Operating Officer claims to have the best interests of the organization at heart, both his reputation as The Cerebral Assassin and the return of Kevin Nash have no doubt led CM Punk and the WWE Universe to draw conclusions similar to those brought up in WCW’s locker room in 1996. While the question over who summoned Nash to take down The Second City Savior at SummerSlam remains unanswered, the possibility of a reborn New World Order is among suspicions. Adding fuel to the paranoia is that fact that Nash came out to the nWo's unmistakable music on Raw.

All of the confusion and conspiracy stems from the mystery of who sent Nash the text message at SummerSlam. The atmosphere of deception and the inconsistent being told by Nash, Triple H and John Laurinaitis have led to widespread speculation among the WWE Universe and WWE Superstars. When the nWo first formed, that same sense of deceit from WCW competitors such as Hulk Hogan and reaching as high as WCW President Eric Bischoff is what allowed The New World Order to begin its rise to power.

All signs point to Nash’s collusion with WWE’s new COO. It’s no secret that they are close friends; both individuals have made that abundantly clear, acknowledging their friendship that stems back to the tight knit locker room group known as “The Kliq” with Shawn Michaels, Sean Waltman (X-Pac) and Scott Hall. Interestingly enough, when The Outsiders left WWE in 1996, separating The Kliq, Hall and Nash would eventually form The New World Order in WCW, while Shawn Michaels and Triple H, remaining in WWE, formed D-Generation X. Waltman was a member of both groups during their heydays in each respective brand. During the nWo’s WWE resurgence in 2002, when Nash took command of the group, Michaels joined and the two heavily recruited Triple H. An injury to Big Sexy led to that incarnation of the New World Order disbanding, but perhaps The Game and Nash are now bringing The Kliq full circle.

This could merely be the beginning of something greater. When the original nWo formed in WCW, it started with three competitors but soon expanded its ranks and grew exponentially in numbers. If the nWo was to reform today, there are a number of WWE Superstars who would fit in perfectly with the group’s method of operation.

And this whole "nobody but the IWC knows Nash's theme" sounds silly. Half the posters on this site didn't seem to know CM Punk was coming to the ring when he started RE-using "Cult of Personality" instead of that throwaway Orton theme he had since he started.

*Apparently, I'm going to have to start the asterisk gimmick with this like I do whenever I say Henning*. I don't care if you prefer it to be called "Jacknife" or not, it's the same damned song. I will refer to it as such, even if it means I go to IWC hell for taking Lord Nash's song name in vein. Diesel Blues*

See? You're biased toward production music-turned entrance themes.

Why I'll bet Booker T's theme is a close second in your book.

Angry

See, Nash should just be Tyson Kidd's bodyguard. Then we have Nash on the show and Kidd in the ring.

Somehow leading to Kidd V Punk
