If your gaming pc is going to be consumed terribly by 200gb, you did something wrong.

Bought it for $900 in 2021. It can hold 250gb and hasn't been an issue for the 3 years we had it....

We have a back up hard drive. Maybe GTA6 can be put there? Dunno if that will cause performance issues.

It will depend on two primary things:

Which USB version it is using, you want minimum 3.0 (also called superspeed)

The kinda storage you store things on. You will want a SSD. Biggest bang for your buck in terms of performance.

Games that are more intense on your GPU should be installed on the local SSD, where there's direct access to the GPU, rather than being bottlenecked by the USB cable.

USB 3.0 and up
SSD

Rumored to be $100, oof.

Not sure if I will get it anyway as I think I have aged out of really being into this genre of games.

In regard to the story and tone, GTA obviously leans heavily into lowbrow satire, which can certainly have diminishing returns as we get older.

That said, I will never tire of exploring Rockstar's open worlds as they always push the boundaries of what's possible in creating living breathe worlds. The attention to detail is really incredible, and whenever I come back to RD2 or GTA 5, I still find things I had never seen before.

Some people are incredulous that the game will look that good on standard PS5, but my question is whether the npcs will truly be as dynamic as they appear in the trailer and screenshot. If it was any other developer, I would call bullshit right out of the gate and assume that in game footage or not, it's all preprepared cutscenes, but when you look at the jump from gta 5 to red dead 2, it's not that implausible.

A new report suggests Rockstar and Take-Two made an eye-watering amount of cash within one hour of pre-orders going live.

This comes from an interview with University Of Virginia business professor Anthony Palomba, who cites analysts that calculated GTA 6 made $1 billion (£755 million) in revenue ‘in the first hour alone’ after pre-orders went up at midnight on Thursday, June 25.

When asked why pre-orders matter so much for games like GTA 6, Palomba said: ‘Third, and most overlooked, they are a signal to financial markets. Take-Two shares rose almost 3% in early trading when pre-orders opened, and some analysts modeled as much as $1 billion in revenue in the first hour alone.

‘For a listed company, the pre-order window functions as an investor communication event as much as a sales channel.’

Game: Grand Theft Auto 6 (Rockstar Games)
Pre-Orders: June 25, 2026, midnight local time
Release: November 19, 2026 (PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S) (digital-only)
Standard Edition: $79.99
Ultimate Edition: $99.99
Pre-Order Bonus: Vintage Vice City Pack (pre-order before Nov 20)
Preload: November 12, 2026

Hope GTA 6 carries over the wanted system from Red Dead Redemption 2 or even what they originally promised for GTA 5 but decided not to in the end in favor of the omnipresence police system.

Outside of GTA Online, I dropped off hard from GTA 5 after beating it. Not sure if it was just the way the entire game was structured that made it less fun to goof around compared to other GTA games or something else that didn't keep the urge to play it after I beat it.
