Legally, there's no case here as these were consensual affairs.

If Vince used company funds for any of it then it's for the board of directors to determine a course of action, probably a slap on the wrist. If Vince is fired the stock drops big time - we all know that.

It’s not quite as cut and dry as “consensual affairs”. There’s a big piece of using his power and influence to coerce. You can argue that the women knew what they were getting into and/or saw it as an opportunity but the narrative in these times doesn’t usually go like that.

Many of those "affairs" sound coerced but the NDA kinda rids him of having to worry about legal ramifications. Or at least jail time. Look what happened with Cosby. NDAs got him out of prison I'm pretty sure.

That said, even without coercion or any such untowardness, I'm pretty sure it's standard practice for high-profile billionaires to get sexual partners from their workplace to sign NDAs. Even if there is no acrimony.

I had a feeling at first that Vince might walk away just because of how bad this looks. But the story continues to fade into nothing. It was obviously a powerplay by someone and it generated some negative buzz for a bit, but seeing as this is wrestling, nobody gives a shit and Vince will keep doing what he does.

Yeah it was a technicality with Cosby if I recall. I believe what happened was they used a deposition he gave in another case as evidence against him after he was promised by the DA that it would not be used against him in future proceedings, thus making it inadmissible in the criminal trial.
