Vassell spent large amounts of last season seriously injured.

He's a disaster area. Has he played a full season yet? He could be a decent enough player if he could go a couple of weeks without hurting himself.

I know he was injured, thats fair enough. It doesn't mean he isn't terrible though. The only thing he has his pace, he's a worse finisher than Henri Camara.

I disagree, I think Vassell is a decent footballer, he's a good runner with the ball. Like Bellamy: not much of a scorer, but has enough to cause even good defenders some trouble.

Camara has a touch like the proverbial rapist.

I dunno, he's built better than Bellamy but he doesn't use the power and pace to his advantage by just running at people, like Yak does (well, did before he got lazy and stopped running)

He's just fast.

I don't think there's a great deal of difference between them, aside from skin colour of course. They both spend inordinate amounts of time injured, and can't finish for shit.

to be fair, teh fact he was in it doesn't mean anything since they had to include a number of Africans, Asians etc etc. Lucas Radabe and Raidi Jaidi were in the team too as were a load of chinks i have never heard of.

The teams started off with all teh world class players like Sheva, Gerrard, Ronaldinho, Becks etc, then the chinks and darkies got their turn for the last 10 minutes.

I won't have a bad word said against Lucas, you filthy blaggard. A few years back, he was one of the best defenders in England. Too bad his knees are fucked now, we could have used him this season.

I like Lucas Radabe, he got a standing ovation from your lot in the match we beat you 2-1 thanks to goals from Yakubu and Lua Lua with Ian Harte scoring a dodgy penalty making for a nervy last 10 minutes with Shaka making a wondersave from Nick Barmby with about 10 seconds left that effectively relegated you because there was no way you'd catch us. Anyway.

The point is, you didn't have to be a world class player to be picked.

David Pizarro was class last night, top signing for Inter. Martins didn't play though The Inter fans that came along were shit though, i wasn't expecting them to sing or anything but they didn't even clap their players when they were subbed, with the exception of Solari.

I'm also fearing Connolly might leave, he was supposed to have been fit for last night but wasn't even on the bench. Dion and de Vries up front won't cut it, no pace.

Spurs have got loads of midfielders, that said, someone like Davids is probably what they need. Experienced and his all action game would allow Carrick to play it about.

I guess Inter don't need him anyway, and like i say, Pizarro looks like being a fine signing.

Davids can play it about better than Carrick can. He's real class.

Depends on whether Davids is still up for it or not, or whether he's just after a payday in London. He was immense for Barcelona the season before last. Anything like that form, and he'll slap everyone's balls.

I'd hope that Davids has signed for Spurs, but you've got to remember that he was confirmed to be signing for both them and Chelsea last year. He'll probably change his mind at the last minute..
