Somebody's posted vids of entrances from a demo of the game. It confirms Chavo Guerrero, Batista, and King Booker for the game, bringing the official count to 20.

Book comes out with his king garb and fortunately no Sharmell

Chavo is the CW champ, which makes sense

For some reason though...Rey and Batista are the tag champs. Granted, it may just be for the demo so that people can defend the titles...but I think Deuce and Domino's chances just got slimmer

IGN is in an uproar now because they are assuming DND and Londrick aren't in. DND probably aren't but I think Londrick will be. They probably aren't the default champs because they are likely on Raw in game.

Guess we'll see in a week.

Meh I knew D&D wouldn't be in, but there is no excuse for London and Kendrick not to be in.

The funny thing is, if DND are indeed not in, Smackdown will have no tag teams.

Raw will probably have Cade/Murdoch, Londrick, possibly Cryme Tyme and the WGTT

ECW will have combinations of Originals and New Breed

Smackdown won't have jack. So the titles are essentially useless. Can't argue though, that's as real as it gets.

Well there's downloadable updates remember, so if D and D aren't in, maybe they'll be one of the first downloadable wrestlers.

I watched Flair's entrance (I hadn't bothered watching Rey's or Flair's yet) and Flair orders the ref to hold the rope up for him as he enters. Pretty cool

Also, immediately after Flair's entrance it cuts to a loading screen of Matt Hardy, so you may as well throw him on the confirmed roster as well (though he was obviously gonna be in anyway). The loading screens feature profiles of the wrestlers this year.

Also, though I thought, like if you do a title match, at least in the demo, your loading screen shows a tale of the tape. Or maybe it randomly does that for any match, depending.

Didn't think he's make the game. Perhaps this means Dave Taylor is in as well, as they were teaming around cut-off time and would give Smackdown a tag team.

Wonder how many people are in this build or demo they've got. They might reveal the whole roster before IGN does.

Yeah, his name is probably still Nitro but his appearance is that of Morrison...I give 'em credit for getting it in so quickly.

I'm pretty pumped to hear the roster confirmation now...I dunno, now that Punk and Dreamer are confirmed it'll be hard for them to screw up the roster for me, omitting Londrick would probably do that.

Definitely gonna keep looking at this guy's Youtube page to see if he adds more...though apparently someone asked for Punk's entrance and he says he doesn't have it, so obviously this build hasn't got everyone

lol all that guy's SVR08 vids have been removed. Prolly got threatened with legal action from IGN. Pretty sure they did that to another website either last year or the year before (revealing people early/showing entrances)

Hmm, keep hearing on numerous sites that the roster has been leaked (possibly the build has everyone listed but not all playable and IGN threatened anyone who revealed the roster or something). I highly doubt its true, but seemingly everywhere I look the same roster keeps getting posted.

Doubt its true though...as there are 60 current superstars (which seems like a lot but not unreasonable). But among them are people like Jamie Noble, Mike Knox, and Val Venis...so I definitely have my doubts. If it were somehow true though I would be more than satisfied with it. There aren't that many people missing (only real absentees being Deuce/Domino, Nunzio, Stevie Richards, Eugene, and the Highlanders).

But again, I doubt the list is true by any stretch. Will include it in the next post:

Yeah, he's the guy that makes me doubt this list the most. I mean sure he's still listed on the ECW roster but he hasn't been on a freaking show since February. Sadly, I could still see why WWE would pick him over Nunzio or Stevie.

Yeah that was my fault actually...the divas were listed amongst the rest so I separated them to make it easier, musta forgot to delete Torrie from the men's list.

But yeah Knox, Noble, and Venis all seem rather suspicious to me.

Yeah I'm hoping that's the case. You never know though, last year the brands were mostly updated for exhibition but then in season they weren't.

Come to think, I wonder if you'll be able to use ECW people in season mode. I'd love to do a season as Dreamer or Punk.

In general I'm interested in hearing more about 24/7 mode, apparently a hybrid of Season and GM Modes. Maybe you can book your own storylines for season or something, that'd be pretty sick.

Either that or let you choose from all of the storylines involved in the game, that way you keep the cutscenes for your character, voice-acted for all the non-created wrestlers, and you don't have to sit through the shitty diva-involved storylines.

That might be true. I've also heard that you might get to choose between being a wrestler or GM. That could be really cool.

I saw another mag scan on caws.ws and it said something along the lines of "there is still plenty more to be unveiled, including the apparently awesome Edit Mode"

Edit Mode eh? I've noticed Mysterio has had like 3 different attires - maybe they aren't alternate attires but rather edits? Maybe you can change attire color or something. It'd also be cool to be able to change people's hair. I'd love to change OVR ratings too.

Burke's already been confirmed, Thorn is pretty likely as he was a big part of ECW around cutoff as a New Breed member, and Cryme Tyme is on the bubble but I think they'll make it
