Ichiro is the one reason I wouldn't be terribly pissed if the Yankees win. Pretty much impossible to dislike the guy.

Leaning more towards thinking a Giants vs Tigers World Series will occur although before the Rangers started their skid, really thought they had the best chance at taking the AL crown again.

The A's and O's make my top 5 because they're doing something similar to what the Rays did in 2008 (and because everybody loves an underdog). The Cardinals are #2 because they're my favorite NL team. And the Yankees are #4 because they hold Spring Training in Tampa, they have a huge fan base here, and I'd rather an AL East team win, if my Rays aren't in.

Yeah the announcement to the media came from Twitter but he probably knew since yesterday he wasn't coming back. He was most likely going to be just a transitional manager regardless how well he did considering his deal was only for two years and only the first year guaranteed.

I'll admit...I'd rather see the Braves win than the Yankees. It'd suck either way but at least I don't have to deal with Braves fans in the office.

And I'll never root for the Nats, but I don't have the unbridled hatred of them as I do the Phillies or Braves. That'll change within a couple of years if they stay this good.

I'll admit, I was totally wrong about Bobby V. I loved him as the Mets manager and thought Boston fans were way too quick to say it was a bad signing (as they shat on it pretty much immediately after they hired him.). But yeah, this season was a huge disaster. He had to go.
