Hey RP, good thing we didn't start Dice-K... oh wait... anyway...

as for Byrd... I haven't read much, but heard he actually talks about it in his book and that he's always used a low level and it's been difficult keeping himself from using a higher doseage...

anyway, bring on the rockies...

gonna go online tomorow and try and get game 4 or 5 tickets in colorado since the sox tickets are gone.

Why did the rockies wait to put them on sale? most teams pre-sell and then refund if they dont make it....

fuck man, I think had Lofton scored, you would of seen a totally different game. it crushed thier momentum. The Indians had chances, but couldn't close them. There were a lot of situations (the close homer, Lofton thrown out at 2nd, Lofton not scoring) that had they went the other way, we might be looking at a different result. But that's baseball for you.

maybe, dunno... but cant see it preventing their pitching from falling apart....

So, Byrd said his hgh was persrcibed... and low levels...

turns out it was... by a doctor in florida the rejuvination center or some other fake practice that just delt out roid and a dentist.... also, he bought 1,000 viles... I think when it's persribed it's usually not that much at a time...

anyway, i don't think it effected anything and don't really care about it, just funny.

Ummmm Okajima and Papelbon absolutely shut the Indians down and all you can come on here and talk about is how wrong i was for starting Dice-K? Which btw i wasnt wrong. The only thing Dic-K did well was not completely self combust on the mound. Yah good job on him keep that 5.59 era intact.

Get a clue about your teams already. You're so busy thinking about how to prove me wrong that you cant even appreciate the 4 innings of flawless pitching Okajima and Papelbon gave your team last night. Dice-K didnt do shit. Infact, 100 million dollars? That fuck should have been pitching a shutout.

Dice-K was Dice-Krap last night from the 4th inning on. He hasn't been his dominant self since August. I blame it on the fact that he played 50 less games in Japan, so he's not used to the workload. Also, he throws too hard on the mound and loses control. I do believe we made the right choice signing him despite the large sum we paid. We captured a huge Japanese market that will cover that expense with the additional revenue the organization has generated so far.

I can see Dice-K having a better year next year because of the conditioning he had this year, and getting used to major league hitting. It's a long-term investment that will pay off even more than it already did.

Although I'm not gonna lie, having Dice-K pitch in Colorado scares the shit out of me given that breaking balls don't break very well at Coors Field.

I just say that cause he had a really hard time retiring any batters after the 4th inning. He did well statistically because he was pulled out of the game in time. I agree though, I would take 5IP 2ER in a game 7 as well.
