So what do people want to see at WrestleMania this year?
I'm hopeful for a Daniel Bryan-Brock Lesnar rematch. Hopefully would be a title unification match.
Hopeful for a John Cena-Undertaker rematch from last year where Cena looks to avenge his loss and take the match seriously. AJ Styles-HBK would be a good Mania dream match. Hopefully Triple H can come back and face Batista in a Retirement Match Hopefully they have Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle have a match similar to TNA Lockdown 2008 Ronda vs. Becky in a loser is the winner's sex slave match would be what I would do personally Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose in a 3 Stages of Hell Match. 1st Fall Hell In A Cell. 2nd Fall Falls Count Anywhere 3rd Fall TLC Match. Winner takes Roman Reigns to chemo. The Rock could take on Shinsuke Nakamura and call him the next big thing Shane McMahon could take on Braun Strowman in a spotfest. Randy Orton could face The Miz, Rusev, and Sheamus for the United States Title. Cesaro could face Rey Mysterio in the opener. Stand in the face of adversity! |

Ronda vs Becky
Brock vs Seth OR Brock vs Drew DBry as a heel vs Miz as a face Maybe Charlotte vs Nia I'm pretty open other than that Would prefer Taker doesn't wrestle, same for Kane. Cena was in the advertising for WM pretty heavily so I guess Cena vs.... um, Shane or Lashley |

Would fans take to face Miz going after heel Bryan? Feel like that could blow up on them rather quickly.

Don't really care yet.
What do I not want that I fear we will get anyway? Cena/Undertaker II so Cena gets his win back, because ya know, 50/50 booking. |

I am actually pretty hopeful for Cesaro vs. Rey. I think Cesaro needs to be in a singles match and it needs to be against a smaller type like Rey or Sami Zayn for maximum effect. Cesaro vs. Rey is also the perfect opener. They could pull out so much cool shit to get us hyped up to start the show.

Apparently they had a match/did a spot last week after Smackdown with Miz playing the face and Bryan a heel and according to report on TPWW main page the crowd was solidly behind the Miz.

50/50 booking is only an issue when it’s happening in every feud up and down the roster and especially when it’s happening to guys like Lesnar. Nothing wrong with Cena getting his win back against Taker. He shouldn’t have jobbed to him in the first place.

I think that was before he really started to make this last bit of his heel run work. They have to be careful though. I'd rather he tween for awhile right now, playing both sides, and then eventually turn face in a HUGE moment.

To see Vince McMahon get his testicles cut off by Brutus 'The Barber' Beefcake and his garden shears.
And bleed all over the place. XD |

I want Cena and Shawn, but apart from that, I’m cool with them being the only part-timers.

I'd rather see Vince in a match. Maybe against Lesnar for the Universal Title? Or a blood feud with Drew McIntyre might be more fitting. McIntyre could beat the shit out of him one night for not believing in him long enough as the chosen one or whatever it was. Vince can come back and vow revenge via his own two hands.

This means they could potentially recycle the feud not just this year but all the way to WM 37 in 2021 so Cena could claim victory in yet another feud. I doubt that will happen, but it's just the sort of motivation I could see "Big Match John" using to excuse it. I think the better option, if they MUST have a rematch would be to have Cena appear sometime at or shortly after the Royal Rumble. Have him come back so pissed off that he lost in less than 3 minutes to Undertaker that (he then rips off his merch t and reveals a throwback jersey and the old padlock chain necklace and puts on a throwback baseball cap and and brass knuckles) and he angrily declares that the Doctor of Thuganomics is going to kick 'Taker's old, dead ass at WM 35. As long as the build was done right, I could potentially see people getting invested in it. |

I'm intrigued by Bryan vs. Cena and AJ vs. Shawn. I don't want to see Undertaker at Mania this year, but I guess since we have to, I'll go him and Kane against Batista and Orton. It won't be pretty, but eh.
At this point, I do think Seth is the right choice to challenge Brock. I think I would rather see Ronda and Becky than Ronda and Charlotte. I guess that leaves Charlotte to face Asuka. A second match between the two could be "cool." |

The history between the two: Bryan won their last match; their relationships with The Bellas; their current dispositions and positions on the fans and on wrestling; Bryan's won his last five matches at WrestleMania (the best active streak at WrestleMania, baby).
I can just imagine Cena cutting promos about Bryan changing and Bryan saying that at least he stands by his woman and is still keeping the wrestling dream alive. Cena is a Hollywood phony that can't hang with Bryan anymore. |

Alexa Bliss vs Nikki Bella in B&P match.
On a serious note, I don't personally rate WM because I think most of the matches are substandard and even the card is quite weak. |

Random match I "want" to see: Rusev vs. The Miz vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas vs. Jimmy Uso.
Not because I like multi-mans or am particularly high on The Miz, but I think a woman in every corner gimmick could be popcorn filler that doesn't hurt my feelings. |

I think it's going to be Brock vs. Seth at Mania, but I kind of want to see Brock vs. AJ again. Styles could win the Royal Rumble and challenge Brock, leaving Bryan to defend against Cena. Doing the "what looks good on the marquee" thing though, I'm kind of intrigued by Brock vs. Cena. Something about it feels "epic." They haven't done it at Mania before.
I've got a sick feeling in my gut that they are going to do Bryan vs. Babyface Bray. I don't hate Wyatt or anything, but I just feel like the gimmick is dead and forcing it into mid-card "World Title" matches isn't what it really needs. There's no reason to think that this will happen, and I've cooled off on the guy since he's blended into the scenery, but I really wouldn't mind Bryan vs. Cesaro. Getting there doesn't seem sensational, but maybe a simple story of guys gnawing at the heels of Bryan, who was at his absolute peak five years ago will do? |

Brock vs Cena for the title with the story of their recent history being plastered all over anywhere WWE can get publicity is the way to go. Cena is a star and smart crowds actually respect him nowadays. Draw as many eyes as you can to the show and let them watch Cena overcome the beast to an actual positive response. It would be beautiful. A story being told to the exact reaction WWE wants. What a concept.

The more I think about it, the more Brock vs. Cena appeals to me. I mean, it's never not -- I wanted to see it a few years ago (I cannot remember which Mania specifically). But it does feel like the most "WrestleMania" thing they can put on. I wouldn't have Cena put his career on the line, but I think Heyman can cut promos about Brock intending to end Cena's career which might plant doubt in the fans' mind as to whether or not Cena is going to win, because it could easily be a farewell for now from Cena.

Mania weekend is looking like it could be pretty fun. Gonna go to Josh Barnett's Bloodsport and TNA on Thursday. NXT and Blackcraft on Friday. ROH/New Japan at MSG and hopefully Joey Janela's Spring Break 3 Part 2 (still looking for tickets if anyone has any leads) Saturday night. And Mania on Sunday. Undecided on if I want to do Raw and/or SmackDown!. I know it's normally the most rowdy crowd of the year for those shows but the product is just so bad I don't think I can be bothered.

I gotta say, is Roman is cleared I would like to see him get into the Universal title match. Rollins seems hurt anyways, have Lesnar storyline injure Rollins, then have Rollins and Ambrose help Roman finally beat Brock at Mania, and get one more little Shield fist bump before Ambrose leaves.
