Micheal Kay: Look at that! He's got facial hair. You can't be the Yankees batboy and have facial hair!

Two Yankees leading the American league in home runs.
The 8 game win streak has been pretty great and everything, but we have been facing two pretty bad teams in the Mariners and A's. I hope the Yankees keep this up when they face the Red Sox and Mets in the next few weeks. |

lol the A's are terrible. Eric Byrnes is supposedly about to be traded for Mike Sweeney, and I would be surprised if most of their starting lineup is still in Oakland by July.

Speaking of Byrnes - just saw a highlight of when Byrnes got blocked from home plate by Veritek. Veritek missed the ball tho, so Byrnes just had to get up and tag the plate but instead he pushed Tek in the back and walked away hahah hilarious

Guys on ATH kept saying about how the Yanks wins came over bad teams, but I don't buy that. A team with that much talent just needed to get a groove and now they are good again. I just hope Baltimore can keep it up.

I know everyoen says the yankes have beaten crappy teams...but this is a team that lost 3/4 to the devil rays of all teams, so this win streak is very relevant to them succeeding the rest of the year.
good to see giambi fnally do something |

The Twins will have AT LEAST two all-stars though, Santana and Nathan are shoe-ins, and I would hope at least one of: Justin Morneau, Joe Mauer, Jacque Jones can somehow slip in. But 2 is better then one, we had somebody screwed over last year, forget who though.

Cause he is Canadian.
I hope that the Jays get some love. I'm not expecting alot of Jays to make it but alot of the players should get a decent look. Halladay is a lock, but Chacin and Towers have put together good seasons. Hudson, Hinske and Hillenbrand have been pretty good and Zaun has like 20 RBI before he went down. |

Its late and I can't remember things, but I wouldn't be surprised to see at least two more Jays join Halladay.
BTW, what position is Shea playing up there? Koskie at third, Hinske at first right? But yeah him and one of your other SP's could have a shot I'd say |

Damn, did anyone see the relief pitcher from the Mets today? Sets up to bat againest Randy Johnson, this guy was a left handed batter ontop of being a pitcher, and he rips a double off him. Then when Reyes drops a bunt the dude scores (well it looked like Posada tagged him but he was called safe) from 2nd base. Unbelievable.

The bunt by Reyes was pretty sick too. He pulled away as he hit it and the ball just died on the grass. TEXTBOOK SACRIFICE

Damn Sox getting it handed to them 8-0 right now. Youklis made a nice play at 2nd base to the end the inning though. First time he has ever played 2nd in the majors. Pretty sure it was the first groundball hit to him too, back handed went to a knee and tossed it under hand to Renteria. ATLEAST THEY GOT THAT GOIN FOR THEM..which is nice
