I checked out the Ubisoft games on sale in the eShop. Why are they selling games that are 20gb in size for a console that comes no bigger than 32gb? By the time I buy extra memory, I'd be cheaper and quicker buying a physical disc!

The creators admited they build the entire game around set pieces. I think that says something about the game if they think up exciting set pieces and try to stitch them togethor with the gameplay inbetween.

Not saying you're wrong to love it or hate it. I just can't see it's appeal. TR never really appealed to me either back when I tried it out.

Well it helps that the set pieces are freaking awesome, and the gameplay inbetween is really fun.

If you get the chance, give the second one a try. I wasn't that enthralled with the first one either, but I really loved the second. Yet to try the third.

Yea 2 is the best.

1 was a good game, but 2 was a great game. 3 was pretty close to being as good as 2.

Gotta admit though, favorite uncharted moment is playing the 'drugged' sequence in Uncharted 3 on a 3DTV. It is fucking mental. Makes you feel like you're on an acid trip kinda.

The people who made Rare awesome all left. So no point thinking about their classics, let alone Bond who's tied to Activision last I checked. They didn't even do Killer Instinct.

Don't think Activision has the license anymore and if they still do, need a new studio since Eurocom got shut down a few years ago.

Signed up for EA Access last night a.k.a. made a deal with The Devil.

No complaints so far. Downloaded Fifa, Madden, Battlefield 4 and Peggle. That is the totality of the vault thus far but more than enough to keep me busy for a while.

EA Access is a decent deal, though the library's thin now. Eventually I think it's gonna change things. Puts Sony's shitty system on notice.

They better put Rogue on PS4/XB1. After playing AC4 on PS3/4, I want my pirating to be next-gen, thanks. I wish they would go ahead and let people know, though. Don't want to end up getting it on an old system and then 2 days later find out it's coming to the new ones.

That's a tactic a few developers take, like R* with GTA V. It will release on 360 etc and get a souped up version on new consoles 6 months later.

No idea who Quinn is because Kotaku UK has a mostly different staff but the only issue I have with Kotaku is the comment section. I'm not going to fly into a rage about inequality but the other day a female reporter for Kotaku did some barely VG related news story and the comments were ridiculing her. The story exactly above was just as barely VG related but by a male reporter and the commenters didn't mind at all.
I've also seen various types of bigotry run wild in the comments of various articles but what really gets to me is the seething rage anytime some female reporter brings up anything even vaguely pro female.

Don't think I see sexism as a uniquely male thing. The diet Coke ads are incredibly sexist towards guys, in my opinion. It's just Kotaku comments and the internet as a whole take it to an Olypmic level.

I never got what the issue was with "Social Justice Warrior" hate. It's like there's some internet rule against actually wanting to defend someone or raise a certain point about certain situations.

Just did a search and see the Quinn in question is alleged to have slept with a Kotaku reporter for positive press for an indie game. That's it? I mean, yeah, that's unprofessional behaviour if it's true but it's not something to make a song and dance about.
