I just love how hot the crowds have been for this so far. Adds so much to the show.

Jesus that was a fun show. Moxley match was great. Main event was great. Darby Allin is being made into a star. And I think that guy who'll benefit the most from being in the Inner Circle is Sammy Guevara.

Also, the brawl between Hager and Page as great. Hager being booked like a monster and Page not giving one flying fuck. So much fun. More please.

Like the Inner Circle. They are nailing it with the end of the show.

Post-match brawl was pretty great. Another very entertaining show overall from AEW.
Only real weak point is their women's division but that's entirely improvable with more time and shows under their belt. Going to rate tonight's show four giggling Rusevs out of 5. |

I liked the little attention to detail at the end there. Matt Jackson tried to bring MJF into the group huddle but MJF just batted his hand away.

Picking Sammy Guevara over MJF as the “god I just wanna punch your smug face” heel was a risky choice IMO. But it’s worked so far.

Probably going to the Indianapolis show. I've only ever been to small indy shows...long time ago.

This was, yet again like last week, overall, the best two hours of wrestling I've seen on TV in a long time, probably the last 10+ years. It's not really even that close.

That was such a fun show. All the matches were good. The production was pretty tight. The commentary was great. Jericho is still the best promo in the world.
AND STILL NO LUCHA BROS So we’ve got that to look forward to |

I just want to reiterate that Y2J is the GOAT and if you don't agree you're just wrong and should keep your wrong opinion to yourself.

Jesus. Just watched the Jericho promo from tonight for the 3rd time. It's phenomenal. Best promo (and at worst top 3) in the last 10+ years. Unscripted, (most likely, I assume) and again better than anything I can think of from WWE in the last decade or more. Put others over, without actually shitting on anyone else, while still getting himself over, told/progressed a story, answered some questions, left some intrigue/questions, and promoted a future match/PPV. It's actually a great lesson in how to cut a promo.

She seems more likely to join WWE if she ends up signing with a major promotion based on the way she's been leaning since the 2nd Mae Young Classic tournament. Wouldn't be surprised if she were to become a PC coach or have her promotion be affiliated with WWE once NXT Japan happens.
With WWE signing Shotzi Blackheart very recently, that's another notable indie name they snagged away from any potential competitor. Also making NXT even more bloated now. |

Omega and Janela apparently had an insane 25+ minute "unsanctioned" match for AEW Dark after the show

AEW sound like they're holding it together on TV so far. I wouldn't expect them to start slipping until they start slipping. They've got good will, but I'm just worried they're going to get real cocky and start doing vanity shit and people start going "Wtf?" and tuning out.

I don’t mind the design at all. Got a lot of those conspiracy theory-type imagery, and I like the hidden Jericho initials.

Finally caught the first half of Jericho's promo and it was stellar. And I stand by what I said, especially after Jericho put him over. Guevara is going to be the biggest beneficiary of the Inner Circle.

Dunno why people are going banana over Jericho's promo here..... it was good, but it wasn't amazing or anything.......
Anyways, another very good show from AEW. At no point did it feel like a "chore" to watch, and the time flew by. Really like Private Party upsetting the Bucks. I think they should "not win the titles" though, and then be in "the chase" and make their eventual win a "big moment". Still not buying "Hangman" Page as a supposed big singles star.... but seeing him in the tag match, I think he'd be ideally suited as a tag team star! Give him a cowboy buddy, or heck, just team him up with Dustin on a permanent basis. |

Also was pleasantly surprised by Private Party going over. Assuages any fear I had of the Bucks overbooking themselves out the gate. He def needs a partner. Too bad James Storm and Trevor Murdoch are both under contract with NWA, they'd both be fine in the roll. Maybe Charlie Haas? I dunno. |

I think a lot of the hype for Jericho’s promo just comes from the fact that it wasn’t the cookie cutter, cringey, unnatural WWE promo people are used to. It was certainly great by those standards at least.

Did AEW air on a second network? What was this about TruTV?
